Replying to @SabeloChalufu
@SabeloChalufu looks like 30% is the new gold
I have a tradition of making friendly wagers on election outcomes. In 2024, I bet Minister Jeff Radebe that the ANC would get around 40% of the national vote. He was convinced they would get over 50%. I won a lovely case of wine! 🍷 This election, Minister Bheki Cele and I have a wager on the ANC’s performance in eThekwini. I’ve put them at 17%, while he is confident they’ll get 30% or more 😉

South Africa's water systems and detection mechanisms are quite robust. This is why the sabotage claims were pure BS. The Bronkhorstspruit matter is good old fashion incompetence.
Sunday Times reports that Tshwane municipality ignored repeated warnings about the Bronkohorspruit treatment plant while continuing to supply residents with contaminated water. Mayor Moya is said to have received at least 3 reports on water quality months leading up to the crisis

He didn’t even read the article 🤣🤣🤣 The article also says DA polls are inflated. Now I’m here defending News24 🤦🏿‍♂️
As News24 publishes internal DA polling, provided to it by the DA because it is favourable (greater than reality), I think its time we bring an application to have News24 declared as a donor-in-kind to the DA in terms of the Party Funding Act. Refer to a(iii).

“One scandal” he’s talking about 400 people who got sick because of her incompetence.
Nasiphi Moya is by far the most progressive mayor we’ve ever had. Her achievements n 2 years far exceed what others failed to achieve in more years. One scandal doesn’t automatically cancel her good work. Vote ActionSA on the 4th of November!

If a poll says the DA will win, wouldn’t this make black people come out in numbers and vote to ensure it doesn’t happen? I’m trying to understand why people say a false poll benefits the party that did it.

Why do you have the wife as the loser in a hypothetical scenario? You could easily have both of them earning above R50k and be equal.
An ideal and healthy household is where the wife earns R15k–R25k, while the husband earns R50k–R75k or more. Living in a fenced three-bedroom house with a garage, raising two kids who speak English, and owning two cars a BMW and Toyota Bakkie. Both working Monday to Friday, with no late shifts, overtime, or night shifts. Always home by 5 pm, making time for the kids’ school activities and spending weekends together as a family. Now that’s what you call a clean, peaceful life without unnecessary stress. ❤️👊🏽

The same article says that the DA’s polls inflate their support. Why don’t you mention this 🤣🤣🤣🤣
In 2019, the DA’s “internal polling” predicted 38% of the vote in Gauteng. The actual result? 27.45%. In 2021, the DA’s internal polling predicted 44% in the City of Johannesburg. The actual result? Just 26.1%. Lol you guys really think we are fools.

What a time to be a water tenderpreneur.
#WaterSupplyUpdate: Cornwall Hill The City of Tshwane is aware that Cornwall Hill is also affected by the current water restrictions. Water tankers have been dispatched to the area to assist residents with access to water.

We told you that this mayor is useless, but you’re excited because she tweets a lot.
Tshwane mayor Nasiphi Moya and her senior officials had received at least three reports on water quality in the months leading up to the crisis, which left hundreds of residents ill after drinking water contaminated with E. coli tinyurl.com/2k53mdxb

The 3rd one in all Metros except CPT.
Ten days out from the most consequential election in the city’s democratic history, it is becoming clear Johannesburg will be governed by one of three coalitions:

There is so many illegal Immigrants in Lusaka & Ndola lately. Emmasdale, Makeni - Lusaka or Ndeke, Mitengo in Ndola ; we are losing our Zambian Cities each day. There is a township called Ndeke in Ndola, we've lost the whole township to Somalians. We need to protect our country

The article also says DA polls tend to inflate their support. So we can conclude the poll is BS.
News24 Sunday reports that the DA’s internal polling show it as the biggest party in Jhb, Tshwane, Ekhuruleni, Mangaung, Nelson Mandela Bat and Cape Town. If polling is an accurate the DA is assured of leading Mangaung. At 39% it has double the support of the ANC in Jhb.
