Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war – starving children to death – but rather than criticise the Israeli government for this war crime, what did the Minister do?
He criticised me for using "florid language", patronising me to dodge the question.

The situation in Gaza is catastrophic. The UK government should:
- call for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire alongside the release of all hostages;
- demand Israel increase aid flows;
- do everything it can to get supplies to those in need;
- resume funding for UNWRA;
- support the status quo at Holy Sites in Jerusalem, including access for Muslims to worship at Al Aqsa.

The deliberate murder of Hind, her family and the medical team who arrived for her rescue — along with the tens of thousands of innocent people Israel has killed — is an offence to our humanity. It is a curse not only on her killers, but on everyone who has stayed silent or failed to call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, and on @KarimKhanQC @IntlCrimCourt for still not issuing #arrestwarrants for war criminals

In Parliament today, the Prime Minister and then a Tory MP invoked Islamophobic tropes against me.
Rishi Sunak suggested I was responsible for Hamas and the Houthis. A Tory MP then implied I was "giving a free pass to terrorists" before pretending he hadn't.

The Washington Post's report on four premature babies who died in horrific circumstances in a Gaza hospital is heart-breaking.
Yet as these and other atrocities mount, Ministers still won't back my calls to press for the ceasefire that would have saved them.

The Home Sec’s article in The Times is inaccurate, inflammatory & irresponsible.
At a time when we should be seeking to unite communities - she is dividing them.
The Home Sec should support the police to keep everyone safe at this delicate time, not make their job harder.

Suella Braverman has whipped-up more hate and division than perhaps any other MP.
From claiming there's a migrant "invasion", to saying sleeping on the streets is a "lifestyle choice", she's the one stoking hate in our communities.
The sooner she's out of government the better.
