A Little Fact About TarsiusX: Why TarsiusX?
Some of you may already know that the name Tarsius comes from the genus name of the Tarsier. It is the smallest primate, yet it has the biggest eyes and it roams the wilds of Southeast Asia. That same spirit of small but standing out is what inspired TarsiusX, the original, non-derivative NFT collection on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).
The Art🎨
Every trait in the collection is purely hand-drawn, and it took 5 months to finish the artwork.
Transparency of the Project 🔎
We believe a project should be open with its community, so here is where things stand:
🪙 Creator Wallet: The creator wallet minted 1% of the Supply (15 NFT). It will be used for future giveaways.
✅ Free Whitelist: A total of 40 free whitelist NFTs were minted.
🏷️ Lower Mint Price: We reduced the public mint price from 8 XRP to 4 XRP.
💰 Royalties back to holders: The 10% royalty fee will be returned to holders. We will accumulate other NFT projects and tokens with it, which will also be used in future giveaways.
🌱 Use of mint proceeds: The XRP earned from minting will go to the Project Funds, Collection's artist, to giveaways, and to a share for a Tarsier Foundation dedicated to conserving real tarsier habitat. We will announce the foundation once we have made our final choice and once we minted out.
💎 Holder perks: Holding a TarsiusX NFT earns you a free mint in our next collection.
🧩 Complete Sets: The collection has 30+ complete sets. Holding a complete set gives you priority in giveaways. Will be announced later.
🌍 Community: We will create a Discord channel once we hit 80% mint progress.
⏩ What's next: We are working on our website and on getting verified on XRP Cafe.
We are not here for the hype. We are here for the utility and progress.

Some people say that my collaborations in real life don’t do anything to web3.
I mean, when I do something in real life people google me or look at X or Instagram and see how involved I am in web3 and always ask questions or say I like your NFTs. I was at the barber, a guy recognized me and said I got your token and your NFTs. I was walking my dogs a dude yells JC what up! XRP bro.

I used to create website using notepad decades ago, all the manual typing, optimizing images so everything can fit into the 20MB hosting size provided by geocities.
However, I never have the chance to become a coder or a web designer.
Fast forward decades later, I can’t believe AI brought me back to creating my own site, without having to touch a single line of code. I know I’m kinda late to the party, but I just wanna share my feeling of being mindblown by the technology.
Maybe next step would be making games? Everything is a possibility from now on.
