South Lanarkshire residents can get involved as the council sets next year’s budget.
A public consultation has now opened as 17 savings options have been tabled to help bridge a £36 million gap over the next 2 years, with £14m needed in 2026-27 alone.

Some difficult decisions loom as your council sets its budget for next year, because funding is not enough to cope with rising costs. Have your say on the future of our services. The consultation closes on Friday 17 January.
