Musselburgh Labour

“We need an honest assessment of what is and what isn’t working in our system - and only regular, transparent and independent data will help us do that In Parliament this week we will be asking other parties to get behind this plan Scotland’s education system used to be the best in the world and our ambition should be for it to be the best again”

Delighted to be staying on in the role of Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Education, Culture and Gaelic for @ScottishLabour. Affordable childcare, good schools and booming creative industries. Get those right and the whole country does better. Let’s get to work. 🌹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

There is now less than a week to go before Scotland goes to the polls. After 19 years, we need change because our NHS, schools and economy all need a boost. I’m standing as your local champion to make sure our communities in East Edinburgh, Musselburgh, Portobello, Tranent, Elphinstone, Wallyford and Whitecraig are not left behind. We’ve had teams out across the constituency and we’ve spoken to over a thousand voters as we teach the final week of the campaign Make your vote count and vote Katherine Sangster and @ScottishLabour on the 7th May
