I can't believe we've been on this journey for over four years. As much as this staff and students have deepened their understanding of PBL, their growth mindset and desire to learn more are amazing. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. TY @WalshElemSchool!

Agreed @karenvaites. Districts that prioritize what they call “cultural relevance” over knowledge building and reading development are being performative and not serious about equity. And are showing ignorance of the science of learning. Cultural relevance isn’t a subject area.
It all matters.
My honest sense of the K-12 landscape, based on research on district purchasing and discourse #onhere, is that the importance of knowledge is getting less attn than importance of cultural relevance. I hope to see equity-minded Ed’s talking about both.
