NAS is The Ambassador of Hip Hop & literally born during the recognized birth year of Hip Hop. What he’s done over the years is amazing.

RIP to Nispsey 🙏🏽💯 This shirt is dope 🔥, but at the LA Sofi shows they sold alot of Yankees branded Jay-Z merch...in Dodger stadium. I'm still confused as to why he was selling Yankees merch at Dodgers Stadium 🤔. Doesn't make much sense to me. If anything he should have sold retro "Brooklyn Dodgers" Jay-Z branded merch since he is from Brooklyn and the Dodgers team is originally from there. That would have been dope and more appropriate imo. The leftover Yankee stuff should have been exclusive to Yankee stadium and the Roc Nation websites. Marketing wise that makes the most sense to me 🤷🏾

Queens Get The Money | Day 18 Noreaga feat. Maze - "Sometimes" (Produced by EZ Elpee) This song is so damn good man. Depending on the day, might be my favorite on the whole Belly soundtrack.

Of course in real time some folks don’t understand that @nas is our Miles Davis and like Basquiat there ain’t a non-valuable piece he’s ever done. His run of 3+3 albums with hitboy was unprecedented. As with 33 years of his work. Nas is Art and art ain’t hubcaps & fried wings. Yeah @nas is Miles to us

Nas has an entire album produced by Kanye. It flopped Entire album produced by DJ Premier? It also flopped. Badly Not one popular song from either album 22 years without a mid-level hit or a platinum album At some point, Reality should be allowed to have some input

Just announced by Pete Rock at NYC Comic Con, The Auditorium Volume 2 by him & Common is dropping in 2027. Some people thought the first installment ranged from great to classic. I thought the album was just okay, but needed more energy. Who's interested in the follow up to this project?

I hate it when people try to not count Lost Tapes as an actual Nas album just because some songs were old and unreleased. All the songs were recorded in a 4 year span (98-01). That's commonplace. Cole had songs he held for The Fall Off that were over a decade old. No difference.
Happy 24th anniversary to the CLASSIC "Lost Tapes" album by Nas. Here's a dope article on how the project came together. It was crafted with the care of an actual album instead of a compilation. The Making of Nas' 'The Lost Tapes' Album, 20 Years Later share.google/ca8AUDOFQsdLMvg…

Today in 2002, Nas dropped Lost Tapes 💎 Nas proved that a compilation of his unreleased and leaked tracks was better than most rapper's best projects. What's your favorite track off Lost Tapes?

Nas is helping hip-hop pioneers get the financial recognition their impact deserves🔥💰🐐 He serves on the advisory board of the Paid in Full Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Ben and Felicia Horowitz in 2022. It provides financial grants to influential artists whose earnings haven’t matched their contributions to the culture: “Unfortunately, many of the most impactful original artists never received recognition proportional with their exceptional contributions to arts and culture”. Rakim, Scarface, Roxanne Shanté, Grandmaster Caz and Kool Moe Dee are among the legends honored through its Hip Hop Grandmaster Awards.

“Hip-Hop don’t have social security.” 👀💰🙏 Nas helped give Grandmaster Caz something bigger than a shoutout. Through the Paid in Full Foundation, which Nas co-founded, the hip-hop pioneer received financial support that allowed him to buy a house and finally leave the projects. The Cold Crush Brothers legend explained the reality behind his decades of contributions: “You have to work. You got to stay out there. For me anyway, I got to keep working.” Caz kept doing radio, park jams and hip-hop sightseeing tours to support himself. His story shows why helping the pioneers means more than celebrating their influence. For him, that support meant a home. Interview clip.
