"I am absolutely grateful to be a part of this film."
- @radhika_apte about #Legend (2014), the first ever Blockbuster in her career.
Whenever people change colours, History will be right around the corner to slap it in their faces...
Radhika Apte has opened up about her experience working in Telugu cinema, revealing that she was asked to marry her own cousin in a film.
She also spoke about being paired opposite a much older actor and how her character was killed off halfway through the movie.
The film in question is Legend (2014), starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. But if she had a problem with the storyline or romancing an older actor, wouldn't she have known about the script and the hero before signing the film?
She agreed to do the movie back then, yet is raising these issues years later while calling out patriarchy in the industry.
Heartfelt wishes to @VenkyMama garu, @IamRohithNara garu, #Trivikram garu, @vamsi84 garu and the entire cast & crew of #AadarshaKutumbam releasing tomorrow 🤗
May the #AK47 fire a blockbuster at the box-office.

A lot of talk regarding politics diminishing neutrals acceptance...who better than us to talk about it?
We have faced political opposition right from 1982 i.e. from 45 years and probably the longest by any
actor ever.
Despite all this, our Hero delivered
4 INDUSTRY HITS 🔥🔥🔥🔥
While all started on neutral grounds, we started our campaign conquering the opposition first, the first of its kind 🙌
What a proud flex for every #NandamuriBalakrishna fan 💪
