Supporting our athletes. Strengthening our communities. NCSHP members attended a regional Special Olympics meeting in Dare County on Oct. 16.
We are proud to support the spirit of inclusion, determination, and teamwork that Special Olympics represents.
Serving our communities, on and off the highway.
NCSHP members worked a special assignment at FaithFest in Wilkesboro, where more than 55,000 attendees gathered over two days for Christian music and testimonies from special guest speakers.
Loyalty. Integrity. Duty. 🇺🇸
For NCSHP troopers, these values are lived every day, on every mile of North Carolina’s roads.
Driven by Legacy.

This October, the NCSHP remembers the troopers whose End of Watch falls this month. We honor their courage, service and ultimate sacrifice. Their legacy will never be forgotten.
Each month, we will recognize the troopers whose End of Watch falls within that month.

Trooper A. Thiede helped reunite a missing 93-year-old Virginia veteran with his family after recognizing something was wrong during a traffic stop in Currituck County. Her compassion and quick action brought him home safely.
October is Pedestrian Safety Month. As days get shorter, visibility becomes more challenging.
Pedestrians: Use sidewalks & crosswalks. Never walk on an interstate or highway.
Drivers: Slow down, stay alert & watch for pedestrians.
Everyone has a role in getting home safely.
During Child Passenger Safety Week, troopers issued 155 child restraint violations and 13,814 total charges statewide.
Every trip matters—make sure children are properly restrained.
