There is also serious need to strengthen our food policies to protect our children from unhealthy foods.
SADC countries need to change their farming and food systems in order to improve nutrition of their people. There is need to look more into our indigenous vegetables especially in Lesotho where we have limited arable land. wild indigenous vegetables can mostly grow anywhere.

This weekend we are laying to rest another child who is an unfortunate victim of unsecured and unsafe pit latrines. This is the 2nd child we are aware of this year alone. It is our responsibility as a community to keep our children safe. We need to do better with #WASH
