Kaitlin just passed her private defense. Congratulations!!! And big thanks to the members of the jury for their great comments and feedback!! Niels, Mohssen, Gustau and Danick.
Damien has been defending today in microTAS in Basel, our work in collaboration with Prof van der Meer from UNIL. Congrats! @AnnalisaDePast @DamienMaillard1
Congratulations to Tom and Ulas for our latest paper in Nature Communications about a resonator-based IR detector using a shape memory polymer. Great example of collaboration between EPFL labs. rdcu.be/bS1il
Congratulations Herb on the great success!
Most soft robots are actuated by rigid, noisy pumps. A stretchable pump developed at EPFL can change this paradigm. It could also play a big role in the development of lightweight exoskeletons or smart clothing

Lots of interest in our work during @Transducers2019. Big kudos to @Faizan250 and Andrea.
Big thanks to all the ANEMS team that played such an important role in the NMC2019 - STI Workshop organization. Also thanks to @fsrmch, EPFL Mediacomm, and @EPFLEngineering. It would not have been possible without you guys. Everybody said it was a great success!
