It was great to celebrate the 150th anniversary of HMP YOI Rochester yesterday at a special service at Rochester Cathedral with @AntoniaRomeoUK and Michelle Jarman-Howe. We also visited the prison and viewed the stonemasonry workshop, teaching skills to those in custody.

Happy #DisabilityPrideMonth. Here's how to support those of us who are disabled.
Listen to the experiences of disabled people
Recognise that not all disabilities are visible
Ask how you can support before trying to help
Keep going! Being an ally is an ongoing process.

Fantastic work completed by supervisor Gary and people on Probation at Tindale Crescent Allotments.
A huge difference made already! All rubbish collected is to be removed to ensure allotment residents can access the footpaths on site.

Stable accommodation is key to reducing reoffending.
We're rolling out the Community Accommodation Service Tier 3 (CAS3), which provides temporary accommodation for prison leavers at risk of homelessness.
Hear from Sarah about how being in a CAS3 property helped her⬇️

Great to see so many colleagues, partners & hear from @criminology at our regional IOM conference today. Desistance dropped off the agenda post 2014... Time to rethink how D principles can aid public protection, not be at odds with it?? #wherethereshope

Access to safe and stable accommodation is key to people getting the support they need to address issues that lead to reoffending.
