New album NESMETAL : UPON THE PRECIPICE is out! nesmetalofficial.bandcamp.co… @retro_runner @brianlyda5 @PleaseLoseBattl @to6okegao @LameGenieVGM @travis_bolek @WeAreIndieMetal @Retromancers @Raddland @Biriikung @8BitPowerHour @year200x #NewMusic2026 #metal #indiemusic #chiptune

I mentioned before that more than 6 songs were intended for "UPON THE PRECIPICE". 4 more to be exact. They weren't included because I felt it was taking too long, not that they weren't "good enough" ;) Oct. 21 they will be released as a follow-up EP! @ChiptuneMonthly @PteSquad

It's just over 6 months now that "Upon The Precipice" has been out. What do you all think? Ready for more? nesmetalofficial.bandcamp.co…

Nothing to see here, just a little personal discography update... ;)

If you've been following me for a time you may think - a 6 song album? What gives? Just know that more than 6 songs were written... Also, this past December marked the 20th Anniversary of my first album, "PRESS START" (2005). Could be a few surprises this year ;)

Incase anyone missed it, the new album - "UPON THE PRECIPICE" - is now also available to stream in full on youtube! youtube.com/watch?v=KMzSepI3… @ChiptuneMonthly #chiptune #chipnews #NewAlbum #metal #Deathmetal #instrumental #indiemusic #indie

"Upon The Precipice" of 1/15/26 @PteSquad @retro_runner @PleaseLoseBattl @to6okegao @brianlyda5 @WeAreIndieMetal

Soon now... @PteSquad @retro_runner @PleaseLoseBattl

"Slow Hearts". A song I wrote back in late 2004 that I later recorded as a bonus track for 2006's, "The Decay". A little rough around the edges, but for what the song is about, it's quite fitting. Anyway, hope you're all having a wonderful Monday! youtube.com/watch?v=9MWxy10I…

A video for a silly lil' jam I put together for a buddy of mine late last year. If you're into videogame speedrunning, you should check out his stuff - he's the current Ninja Gaiden (NES) world record holder. And also a master of shred! @retro_runner youtube.com/watch?v=7Zz4wsLT…

Just wanted to give a shoutout to my buddy @retro_runner for an awesome NG2 run at @GamesDoneQuick! Not sure what the WR is, but that was quicker than I've ever seen it done! Great stuff, man and congrats! "Keep old games alive!"

After MANY years of not utilizing any other platforms, I decided to branch out a little and make a channel on Rumble (since its UI is similar to youtube and I'm out of the loop on this sort of stuff)! Here it is if you're interested! rumble.com/user/NESMETAL

2 years shy of this song's 20th anniversary - I think it's ok to give it some early love ;) youtube.com/watch?v=Y_RsaSqs… @PteSquad @doferdrick @Stemage @Raddland @HarleyLikeMusic @genoboost @year200x @retro_runner @ExtolOfficial @PleaseLoseBattl #chiptune #metal #anniversary #Old

Without @yuzokoshiro 's work (specifically Streets Of Rage 2) it is entirely true, and appropriate, for me to acknowledge that I never would have made this body of music. So I just want to say thank you, Mr. Koshiro, for sharing your gift with all of us! youtube.com/watch?v=vrCLaQU6…

My debut album on @PteSquad, "LUMINOUS", turns 15 today! Seems like just yesterday. Cheers! #metal #chiptune #electronica #instrumental #anniversary youtu.be/cq8WZ_CvQTE?t=367

Who said "milestones" could only be measured by 10 year increments? Round about this time/this month - 14 years ago - NESMETAL : VOID" was released on @PteSquad ! #chiptune #electronicmusic #metal #progmetal #Deathmetal youtu.be/EmghfOvbHzg?t=270

Congratulations to @retro_runner for yet ANOTHER Ninja Gaiden World Record!

Good music needs hearing. And so, enjoy ;) youtube.com/watch?v=cwaXmLHQ…

While it's not the "10 Year Anniversary" of when this album was released... it is now, however, round about 10 years since I first began "actual" work on it. Time flies...all too quickly... youtube.com/watch?v=XuMS74tZ…
