Our oldest #Explorers wanted to organise & run their own camp. They worked as a team to plan the programme, equipment, menu, shopping, budget & accounts. A leader visit midway found them constructing a treehouse & chatting to #Scouts about Explorers 🏕 #SkillsForLife #YouthLead

Our end of term #campfire was interrupted by a mission to clear up a nuclear explosion, working together as a team to rebuild the nuclear reactor! Then we had hot chocolate and marshmallows to celebrate. 😋 #Scouts #explorers #skillsforlife #everydayadventure

👏👌 Sounds like a great end of summer adventure. 🚲 🏕
The #Explorers wanted a weekend #hiking & exploring the #Cairngorms to close off their summer adventure. Also visited Deeside Bike Festival & saw @TourofBritain pass through Ballater. As usual, great to have such enthusiastic Explorers! #everydayadventure #SkillsForLife #scouts

Great to have so many young people out riding on our #mountainbiking taster session. Some had ridden off-road #mtb before and others were new to it. Everyone had a great time with a lot of smiles! #explorers #scouts #everydayadventure #SkillsForLife

Camp is getting closer and closer! The leaders spent some time at the weekend sorting all our equipment. Nice to see some of the stuff we have again, since it's been packed away for a couple of years. (Also nice to recycle and donate some things we don't need any more, too!)
