In the latest episode of my podcast I speak with Nicole Wiet, an Elevator Mechanic and President of @BCTradeswomen. I especially enjoyed this discussion because I also work in the trades. #womeninconstruction #tradeswomen #trades #sexism fabulouslyqueer.ca/episode-3…

This situation is not easy to rectify, but one possible solution kept coming - a “maintenance bylaw,” to force the owner of the park to perform basic maintenance. Such a bylaw would also protect others in the city, who may be dealing with similar issues.

I went door knocking with @PerryCoquitlam at Wildwood Park, and it was so bittersweet. The people we spoke to are friendly individuals, who get along well with their neighbours, and wish to live in their homes longterm, but the new property owner appears to have different ideas.

After spending so much time renovating my place, I had to do the project justice by creating a video with the final reveal. I put a lot of work into this, so I hope you enjoy. youtu.be/fOUDtIJESAw

I think it’s awful that hateful individuals are associating themselves with the suffragette name, and tarnishing the incredible advocacy work that has gone into further women’s rights, by fighting to oppress women they don’t like. This is my response…

I'm really excited to see my apartment coming together! There's a lot more work still to go, but some great progress is being made, and I have my friends to thank for that! m.youtube.com/watch?v=nQtTUW…

I’m working on drawings for a social justice colouring book. This is the one I created for the LGBTQIAS2+ page. If @TheFlagShop were to print some pages and bring them to @vancouverpride’s Pride Market? Would you pick one up to colour in?

Since many of you seemed very interested in my bed platform, I decided to make a video about it as well as the rest of my bedroom renovation. I hope you enjoy! youtu.be/xGczP7Il_JE

I'm launching a social justice themed podcast, in my role as @TheFlagShop's Community Business Development Manager. This video explains more about the podcast and I will be providing updates regarding the launch date through The Flag Shop's social media. youtube.com/watch?v=ZMZPrfWZ…

Have you ever heard of a gayman, or a hairycat, or maybe a softpillow? No? . . . It’s “trans woman,” not “transwoman.”

I decided to take my kayak on an adventure over the weekend, to promote the Trans-Lesbian Flag, and things went a little awry... youtu.be/suDVwryQf8g

Thank you to @LifeofBria for a great conversation and a beautiful drawing! I'm looking forward to the next time we get to chat like this. I encourage you to support Bria and her artistic ventures by following her on social media. twitch.tv/realultimatebria?f…

I know I've been teasing you for a little while now, but it's finally going into production! The new trans-lesbian flag I designed is going to be available at @TheFlagShop this Wednesday, March 31st, to celebrate Trans Day of Visibility! #TDOV #TDOV2021

Happy #InternationalWomensDay! Today I acknowledge the countless women who make the world a better place and who show us we can do or be anything we want. I also want to extend a huge thank you to the many women who’ve had such a meaningful impact on my life.
