ℹ️//TODAY//FIXTURE//NL1 @NAycliffeFC v @WhitleyBayFC Comp: Northern League Division One Venue: Ashcourt Group Stadium, DL5 5AF Kick Off: 7:30pm 📈CURRENT FORM// Newton Aycliffe 10th | DDWWLD - They drew 0-0 away at Carlisle City at the weekend. Tom Shanley with his, and Aycliffe’s, fifth league clean sheet of the season. At the other end, that was the fourth league game in which they have failed to score. At home in league action they have won 4/8 games, with three draws and a single defeat completing their current NL1 record at the Ashcourt. They have drawn the most league games in Division with six stalemates from their 17 league games played to date. Whitley Bay 12th | WWDWLL - Lost 3-1 away at Bishop Auckland on Saturday. Noah Millington came off the bench to claim a late consolation goal. They have won 3/10 league games on the road, with two draws and five losses rounding out their current NL1 away record. They trend towards later goals with 75% of their league goals coming in the second half. They have been most productive immediately after half time with 9 goals in the 46-60 minute window. ⏪THIS SEASON// No previous league meeting this season. 🔙LAST SEASON// No corresponding league fixture between the sides last season. 🔮OUR PREDICTION// Aycliffe's strong home record, with just one league defeat at the Ashcourt this season, gives them a slight edge heading into what looks a closely matched contest. Bay have been inconsistent on their travels and arrive after back-to-back defeats, although they possess enough attacking threat to trouble any side in the division. Will be a close run thing, and it could easily go the other way, but we just have a feeling... Newtonians 2-1 Seahorses Comments, Likes & Reposts are very much appreciated.
