In 2017, we set out to change how creators make a living on the internet. Since then, we've helped artists earn nearly $200M on SuperRare. A lot has changed in nine years, but our mission remains the same: build the best tools for creators to connect with community and get paid doing what they love. Today, we're launching direct messaging and group chat on SuperRare 🎉 Why build this when there are already so many great chat products? Because why the fuck not. Collecting is more fun with friends. We want to make it easier for creators and fans to connect, collect, and grow this space we know and love. We're starting simple. Messaging requires a mutual follow, and we're shipping reporting tools to help prevent spam and abuse. This is v0, and it's the least good version we'll ever ship. Coming soon, you'll be able to mint, bid, and buy directly from DMs and group chats, making it easier than ever to collect. SuperRare is becoming much more than just a marketplace. It's a place where creators and community can connect directly, support each other, discover new things, and have fun together. Test it out and drop feedback below 👇
