BIG GM ☀️ I’ll TRY not to yap here (no promises). Since the creation of @azukirunclub, I’ve rediscovered my lost love for running. I’m so grateful to be a part of a community that motivates me, encourages me, AND bullies me (a true 3 for 1 deal)! Initially, I wanted to showcase a video that made us all look badass heh (hence, the audio choice). As I was collecting footage from the homies, I realized I wanted to take this video in an alt direction. Prior to the club (or da clerb, as @FinishWhatUStar often says), we were all in our own lil worlds couch-potating, slipper smacking, coding, degening, or running on our own idk you name it, someone was prlly doing it. Now that ARC started, we’re all part of the same team now. We’re all (being forced to go) running. When I’m running my 3 miles, I look forward to posting about it, rising in the gardenrun.xyz ranks, and getting one step closer to completing our group challenges! Did I mention Strava kudos too? I like receiving those (hint hint to da members 🙂‍↔️). Point being, even though we’re scattered across the globe, @azukirunclub has truly made me feel like we’re all together, every single day…struggling….jk. Having fun…fun….FUN (I drank too much coffee). I hope that comes through in da video. Each IRL video was taken by an ARC member! Thank you to all the members who submitted footage! (another shout out to @0x_jonny for creating gardenrun.xyz even tho I know decaf is gonna meme me with the same gif again) 💜

GM ☀️ INTERESTED IN JOINING @azukirunclub BUT DON’T KNOW HOW TO GET STARTED? Then please enjoy this 2:25 onboarding video filled with the info YOU 🫵🏻 need to get started (plus some club memes). Hate running? Well pls watch my thing anyways cuz I spent hours on it T__T 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ 4th star acquired! Running the London Marathon was one of the hardest races I’ve ever ran. Fighting through the pain and urge to just give up were new challenges I had to face. Falling at Mile 13 felt like defeat. Slowing down to walk, with tears streaming down my face as the crowd kept shouting, “Keep going, you got this,” felt, in that moment, unbearable and almost humiliating. Even after crossing the finish line, I couldn’t help but despise the race. I’ll admit it — I wanted to put the London Marathon behind me as quickly as possible and focus on the other majors. In retrospect — and with a few days of rest — I’m incredibly grateful for the London Marathon. It forced me to meet a version of myself I had never known, one defined not just by endurance and discipline, but by a deeper strength and sacrifice. I discovered someone who can truly push beyond her limits, both mentally and physically. As Eliud Kipchoge says, “No human is limited.” And for the first time, I truly understood those words. And finally, some shout-outs to some remarkable people who made this race possible: My dad - who spent that wild 72 hours traveling with me. @NFTdivide - who stayed up until 8am waiting for me to cross the finish line. @P3TASOS - who rescued me at the finish line and helped navigate me back to my hotel. He also took a phone call from a very worried father pahahahahahahaha. Some lady named MB from Madison, Wisconsin - who lifted me back up and encouraged me to run with her. She also asked me a million questions to take my mind off the pain LOL. London tube riders - who gave up their seats to me, fanned me, and gave me more food. London Marathon volunteers - who had the best setup. Plenty of hydration available throughout the course. Everyone else in London - who were the absolute best cheer squad, both during and after the race. Out of all the majors, they snagged the #1 spot. Now onto Major #5! See you soon Tokyo 😎
