We started out in Sept 2023 to get people out walking and socialising. Our aims are also to help promote and raise funds for local groups. everyone is welcome.

Our raffle has just been drawn by Father Gannon from Saint Philomenas Chapel and the winner is Nicky Molloy who will be doing the stadium tour and 3 course meal at celtic park for 2 people. Thanks everyone again for supporting this. The pensioners party will be great.

With a stormy weekend ahead we wont be walking on sunday but we will still do the draw for our pensioners christmas party.We are delighted to have raised £1013 and every penny will be spent on the party so thank you to those who reposted or took a shot. Take care and stay safe.

This sunday we will be meeting at bishopbriggs leisuredrome (G643HD) at 9:30 for a wee walk along the canal. Free refreshments afterwards and everyone is welcome. Forecast for sunny dry morning.

This sunday we will be leaving from @SaintRochsPS at 9:30 for an approx 5 mile walk.We will be inviting a special little boy along and making him an ambassador of the group as the work he does in the Garngad to help others at just 9 year old is truly inspiring.
