Before the year runs out, learn to step away from people and spaces where you don’t feel valued.
Stop overexplaining, forcing connections, and seeking validation from others. Trust your intuition, set boundaries, and remove your energy without guilt.
You’ll realize that protecting your peace is essential and that choosing yourself is the greatest act of self-love.

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely
Give an average Nigerian little power and see how he misuses it
As little as class rep or security guard
Nigerian abuse power
Truly
Many people here are just influencers but the way the talk and act u will think they are God
And if people like that become ordinary local government chairman or governor
They will be worse
People think having a platform gives them free rein to say or do whatever they want. It’s easy to criticize politicians and others, yet with even “a little power” on X, many of you, especially the "influencers", are always acting out. If placed in a position of real power, a lot of you would do worse than the politicians and others you complain about.

Labour gives value to grace. You can’t expect miracle when there’s nothing your hands find doing.
You can’t be idle and expect the supernatural, there’s no means for the blessings to come through. Get busy.

Nigeria has a lot of sunlight. You are literally burning cash if you don’t have solar set up at least as a backup system (mine is my primary sys)
For my solar set up in my house, I had to grudgingly do it but once I did, my only question to myself was why i didn’t do it earlier.

Yesterday I went to a bar and after I was done eating my pepper soup I called the lady who attended to me to give me my bill.
"₦13,500" she said.
I said ok and gave her ₦15,000 cash.
She counted and told me I overpaid, and I responded
"Oh, the ₦1,500 is my tip for your service"
And she asked, what's a tip?
I smiled and said "It means that's for you"
She appreciated it so much, and I saw how happy she was.
Do you also tip people, or not your thing?

In the end, take care of yourself. Nobody can love you like you.

Navigating life with the mindset that nobody owes me anything(even my immediate family) has helped me put in more effort into making things happen for myself.
I ask for help when needed, but it’s registered somewhere that I shouldn’t spiral because you were unable to come through, rather, I do what I got to do to make things happen…
