Someone should find the clip of Ron DeSantis in the primaries in which he said that Trump, king of lockdowns and warp speed, would drive the party into the ground. He cited the losses of 2018, the Covid disaster, and the 2020 loss. He was right but – thanks to the unbelievable risk and sacrifice of so many, along with the crucial support of Tulsi and RFK and Musk – people set aside their doubts and hoped for the best. Trump never took his responsibilities seriously and betrayed the trust of everyone.

If the GOP wants any chance in the future, it will have to kick Donald Trump out of the party.
He has absolutely destroyed it and the current state of the GOP is warmongering, corrupt, corporate focused, entity that does not at all reflect the conservative values of its voters. It’s s lie.
But I highly doubt they will do it. Many elected Republicans only won because of his endorsement.
And those in his administration are going to defend him and stay loyal in hopes for pardons.
They will probably blame everyone and everything else and continue to worship Trump.
And if that remains their course, the Republican party won’t be able to win nationally for decades.

Evan Power and Joe Gruters need to have their misshapen, sloppy, obese asses bounced out of the party so the GOP can rebuild in a way that actually openly allows for holding elected officials accountable instead of being forced into silence as we watch the President and his lobbyist staff sell off executive power, start wars, and piss away the goodwill of the voters.
