Tomorrow (Friday, 28 February) the Assembly Speaker Edwin Poots MLA will chair the Women’s Parliament. The Parliament is made up of women from across Northern Ireland who will make a series of speeches on a range of topics, including: Violence against Women and Girls; Access to Health Services for Women; as well as issues that affect Rural Women, Older Women and Disabled Women. Whilst our sector faces endless challenges it was great to be together this morning at the @NICVA Funding Fair. Here's hoping resolution around NIC, NMW can be sought and more funding and procurement opportunities will come for a sector that delivers across every part of NI.
