A true Jersey icon speaking such inspiring moving words....thank you Senator Booker. This country is built on those who continue to fight to bring change and move it to be inclusive of all who compose it.

Sen. @CoryBooker to Judge Jackson: "I'm not letting anybody in the Senate steal my joy...Don't worry, my sister. Don't worry. God has got you. How do I know that? Because you're here and I know what it's taken for you to sit in that seat."

Rainbow Key team presented last night to @PCSCA2 It is so good to be able to get out and educate & present resources on this topic. With so much hate & misunderstanding in this world, supporting trans students & colleagues is so important!

We are keeping a close eye on what is going on in NY with this proposed legislation...... @NJACAC insidehighered.com/admission…
A great article outlining possible long term impacts of the anti LGBTQ+ legislation being proposed in some states. We have to continue to support our LGBTQ+ students & colleagues & fight for their rights.

Schools should be a support system for their students – no matter how that student identifies. @usedgov stands with all the brave transgender students, their parents, and their families in Texas and across the country.
Hopefully this comes to fruition! Hoping our NJ legislators support this proposal.

Thankful to live & work in a state that supports our students who are transgender and provides that guidance to schools. What is being proposed by some in TX is heartbreaking. Support trans kids.
NJACAC Rainbow Key team reminds all that we must protect our trans students! NJACAC Rainbow Key can provide resources/trainings (in person/webinars) to support districts/school counselors working with trans students in the college search process. Email us [email protected]
