Image generation is unavailable for this request. Israel aids the US, UK and Europe via intelligence sharing on Iran, terror networks and proliferation; co-developed missile defenses (Iron Dome, Arrow, David's Sling) that are combat-proven and integrated into Western systems; cyber, drone and medical tech transfers; and trade/investment that supports jobs and innovation hubs. Europe buys major shares of Israeli defense exports, including Arrow 3 for German and NATO air defense. If destroyed, a regional power vacuum would likely strengthen Iran and its proxies, raise terrorism and instability risks to Western interests, disrupt energy routes, and remove a democratic partner that currently shares the load of containing mutual threats.

Captain Shir Eilat, 20, an IDF officer and commander of observation soldiers in the Border Defense Corps’ 414th Unit at Nahal Oz, led with exceptional composure on October 7, 2023, as Hamas terrorists stormed the base. She directed forces in real time, activated defensive systems against the attackers, and put her soldiers’ safety and morale first until the end. She fell in battle defending the outpost and the communities beyond it. May her memory be a blessing.

Tommy, thank you for asking. Let me explain why I believe Abdul El-Sayed would be a dangerous choice for the United States Senate and why I believe patriotic Democrats should oppose his candidacy. 1) Support for authoritarianism and censorship: In 2012, El-Sayed signed a statement backing Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s extraordinary executive powers and calling for a purge of Egypt’s media and police. This is an appalling endorsement of authoritarian measures and suppression of the press. 2) Troubling denials of Muslim Brotherhood family ties: El-Sayed categorically denied family connections to the Muslim Brotherhood despite his half-sister’s public statements describing longstanding family involvement. This glaring discrepancy raises serious questions about his candor, character, and credibility. 3) Appalling response to antisemitic terrorism: After the terrorist attack on Temple Israel synagogue in Michigan, El-Sayed invoked the attacker’s grievances against Israel and declared that “hurt people hurt people,” appearing to rationalize terrorism against innocent American Jews. He subsequently apologized under extreme duress, but his initial response revealed profoundly troubling judgment. 4) Embrace of extremist Hasan Piker: El-Sayed aggressively campaigned alongside Hasan Piker despite Piker’s notorious declaration that America deserved 9/11 and his inflammatory anti-American, antisemitic and pro-terrorist rhetoric. His willingness to elevate Piker for political advantage demonstrates a disturbing tolerance for extremism and incitement. 5) Failure to distinguish allies from adversaries: El-Sayed refused to identify Iran as a greater threat to America than Israel. His inability to draw this fundamental distinction raises grave concerns about his national-security judgment. 6) Threat to America’s global security commitments: El-Sayed opposes unconditional American military assistance to foreign countries and advocates redirecting resources toward domestic spending. This raises serious concerns about his willingness to sustain the military partnerships essential to deterring Chinese aggression against Taiwan and defending American interests alongside our allies in Europe, Japan, South Korea, and elsewhere. 7) Support for defunding the police and political backtracking: El-Sayed advocated shifting funding away from police, deleted relevant social media posts, and subsequently distanced himself from his earlier position. This raises serious questions about his public-safety judgment and political integrity. 8) Using accusations of Islamophobia to deflect legitimate scrutiny: El-Sayed has characterized questions about his documented support for Morsi and his family’s alleged Muslim Brotherhood connections as Islamophobic. Religious prejudice is unacceptable, but legitimate questions about a candidate’s political record demand honest answers. Tommy, I believe deeply in the best values of inclusion and opportunity of the modern Democratic Party. I also believe that patriotism, democratic principles, opposition to extremism, public safety, and a clear-eyed understanding of America’s national-security interests must transcend party loyalty. I am all for backing Democratic candidates with a compelling vision for our nation's future, but we Democrats will do immeasurable harm to ourselves by supporting candidates like El-Sayed who have shown themselves, in word and deed, to be unworthy of our trust. That’s what I mean when I say that Abdul El-Sayed does not represent the values of our party or our nation and that Democratic voters can (and imo should) express their commitment to Democratic and democratic values by not voting for him.

As a neurosurgeon, let me tell you how frightening this injury actually is - an occipital compound depressed skull fracture treated with a WIDE craniotomy (outer staple line). What's scary isn't the fracture; it's what's adjacent to the damaged skull. The axe blows (that tree-branch scar at the center) hit right over the posterior superior sagittal sinus, a large vein that runs lengthwise between the 2 cerebral hemispheres and carries blood from the brain to the heart. Penetrating injuries to the sinus can carry upwards of a 40% morbidity/mortality - partially because a transection of the sinus can be difficult to repair and can result in extreme blood loss, venous air embolism, or thrombosis - all of which can be fatal. There's scary, and then there's the "you go to elevate the fracture and risk unroofing the sinus, losing 2 liters of blood in a minute" scary. The surgeons likely had their hands full and did an amazing job. Divine providence called many heroes into service that day. Damn fine work. धन्यवाद

A supermarket in Essex, England, has triggered outrage after men and women were seen standing in sex-segregated lines. British shoppers were also told to comply with the rule and are now angry, saying they shouldn’t have to follow Islamic Sharia in their own country.

Tonight, my family and I experienced something no family should ever have to go through. Our restaurant, Singh’s Dining Restaurant in Hammersmith, was attacked by a group of Islamists. We had been receiving death threats every single day, including one that specifically warned us that 28 October would be our last day. We raised our concerns, and the @metpoliceuk were aware of the threats. Yet tonight, we found ourselves facing the very nightmare we had feared. My daughter had to close the shutters just in time. I cannot even begin to imagine what might have happened if she hadn’t acted so quickly. We could have lost someone in our family tonight. The attackers reportedly tried for a long time to break through the shutters to get inside, leaving shortly before the police arrived. We have serious concerns about how the attackers knew when to leave, and whether they were alerted before the police arrived. These concerns deserve a thorough and transparent investigation. Tonight, I am left facing a heartbreaking decision, Do we keep our doors open and risk our lives, or do we shut down the business we have worked so hard to build because I don’t serve Halal food. No family should ever have to choose between their livelihood and their safety. No one should have to live in fear in their own place of work. I am angry. I am heartbroken. I am frightened for my family’s safety. I am calling on the @metpoliceuk to take these threats seriously, investigate tonight’s attack thoroughly, and ensure that my family is protected. Please share this post. Let our voices be heard. We should not have to wait for someone to lose their life before our safety is taken seriously. Enough IS Enough. #Justice

FACTS The numerous travellers who documented their journeys to Palestine through the centuries somehow never came across the Palestinians . Here are just a few of those who travelled and wrote about the land and its peoples and all managed to miss the ‘indigenous Palestinians’. Siebald Rieter 1426 – 1428 Maps to Jerusalem Bernard von Breydenbach 1440 - 1497 Pilgrimage Felix Fabri 1451 - 1502 Pilgrim and Preacher Martin Kabatnik 1428 – 1503 From Jerusalem to Cairo Arnold van Harff 1471 – 1505 The Pilgrimage Father Michael NaudDied circa 1604 The Jerusalem Connection Adrian Reland 1676 - 1718 Palastina Monumentis Illustrata John Bowles 1701 - 1779 The Twelve Tribes Map William Thackeray 1811 – 1863 From Jaffa to Jerusalem Edward Robinson 1794 – 1863 Biblical Researches Sir George Gawler 1795 - 1869 Syria And its Near Prospects Alphonse de Lamartine 1790 – 1869 From Marseilles to Jerusalem Sir George Adam Smith 1856 – 1942 Jerusalem The above are just a small example of those who recorded their travels through the geographical area throughout the centuries who all seemed to have missed the existence of the Palestinians. Perhaps they were subject to Zionist or Jewish threats. Other itinerant scribes who similarly missed the Palestinians were Gunnar Edward Webbe, 1590; the British archaeologist Thomas Shaw, 1750; Count Constantine Francois Volney, 18th century French author and historian and the author Mark Twain in The Innocents Abroad 1867. The absence of the Palestinians and the presence of Jews is the common theme within all these journals. So am I correct in my belief that just like silicone breast implants an invention of the 1960’s and totally artificial , the Palestinians were a similar invention……

In the last 4 years, over 300,000 Christians, Hindus, Jews, and Buddhists have been killed by radical Islamists in Syria, Somalia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sudan, Yemen, Nigeria, and many other Muslim-majority countries, which is a far, far bigger number than in Gaza. Have you seen any news about this in the leftist media?

This is really good. Worth a read!

When the BBC reported on the horrific deaths of the Bibas family, they softened "murdered" to "died," claiming they couldn't say "killed" without independent forensic verification. Yet when reporting on Gazans, the same outlet freely uses "killed" based solely on unverified family accounts and Hamas-run health ministry data. Why is the BBC's evidentiary bar so high for Israeli victims, but nonexistent for others? Is it a collapse of basic editorial standards, or a blatant double standard? In this piece @DannyCohen writes about the terrible experience of Jewish members of staff at the BBC. I suspect there are many non Jews there who feel almost as bad about what they see happening, but fear speaking out. After my recent comments on @spikedonline and elsewhere I have had numerous emails and messages from old colleagues and current TV types. Here's a typical one, which @TwisterFilm might also enjoy: 'Phil, As a matter of policy I never, and can't, say what I do or where I work. But in the wake of everything - @imluciekon , Bob Vylan, all the events leading up to the Prescott memo, the unpersoning of Jenni Murray, it's an endless list - I just wanted to register my joy, relief and appreciation to hear someone of your background and experience speaking out about the BBC. So draw your own conclusions I guess. But I'm sure many have told you that sometimes, seeing all this happen, there's a limited amount of stuff they can personally affect and sometimes they just want to burst. I know I'm not the only one, but finding others who are prepared to speak up is hard, for lots of reasons. I'm alarmed that most of my peers both within and without that industry seem still not to have noticed. I think everything you said to @FraserMyers on Spiked is 100% accurate.' telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

Hilly Solomon — a Jewish Israeli woman from Kfar Yona — was 26 when Hamas invaded Israel. They shouted "allahu akbar." They brought RPGS and AK-47s. They wanted to kill women and children. And they did. Hilly — known as a dog lover and fashion designer — was at the Nova music fest. She could not escape. She was shot dead by Hamas. A victim of Palestinian terrorism. Dead age 26. May Hilly's memory be a blessing. She was a noted dog lover who served in a canine unit during her IDF service. Her mother, Maggy Solomon, told the Kan public broadcaster that Hilly was a girl “with so many dreams, boundless aspirations, belief in good with enormous willpower and insane joy for life.” “Nobody could compete with her willpower, to reach achievements, to conquer every summit,” added Maggie.
