Am off to walk to NY today. A slow stroll, I like to say, through the fast corridor. DC to Manhattan. Off to take in a founding slice of America. Talk to her. Wonder at her. Maybe make a little sense of her. Will paddle across New York Harbor before the end of April.
Yeah, and in doing so proved his unworthiness for any office.
Hey reporters and editors: Please stop normalizing Trump. Show him unsparingly as the lunatic he is. That is the honest way to write the story.

Everything he says is total hyperbolic nonsense. He things he sounds smart if whatever it is is the most horrible, the most radical, total health on earth. When it is simply unhinged.
Absolutely take your own walk. Nothing beats it
Such an enjoyable read. The perfect blend of travelogue, memoir, and history. Makes me want to go for my own walk!
Well done, @NKingofDC!

Still remembering all the Monday "brink of recession" headlines. From a single downturn in the market.

Remember yesterday when we were suddenly on the edge of a recession the press had already falsely predicted for nearly three years? Global markets rebound today.

Something funny about Tom Friedman lecturing Gov. Tim Walz on how to talk to ordinary voters.

Doesn't the fall follow the summer?
Democrats have approved rules for an abbreviated nominating contest to replace President Biden at the top of the ticket this fall ahead of the party's convention in August.

Hate to be a Trump interpreter but I'm pretty sure what he was saying here was that his people won't have to care about voting in four years because he will have fixed all problems. Everything will be perfect. Classic Trump stupidity, but still....

Trump did call it "the world's largest mosquito" when talking to RFK Jr about the shooting. That doesn't sound like a bullet.

Rogue and scoundrel watching a good man do what he could never have done.
.@realDonaldTrump watches President Biden’s address to the Nation, from his plane following a rally in Charlotte, NC.
Such an amazing story, and all the more so because it never mentions the show.

Again, Republicans competely ignore history--and reality--in thinking the Democrats violated some law or principle in picking Harris to represent them. It's how parties work.

Here is what every responsible news organizations should be doing for the next 100 days. Showcase and focus relentlessly on THE STAKES. Every area of policy. Programs and articles on what a Trump Administration would do and what a Harris Administration would do. The environment. Womens’ health. NATO. Health care. Voting rights. Civil Service. The judiciary. Social Security. Taxes. And so on.
Netanyahu as undermined the U.S.-Israel alliance and turned Israel into a deeply partisan issue, which it never was before. He is a loathsome leader and should not be welcomed within the U.S. Congress.

Great stuff
Broke down the Harris 2020 ad that's going around which provides a taste of some pretty compelling contrast messages.
