Interesting statement from the Solihull Moors board this morning…
Seemingly sticking by Chris Millington though also admitting results have to improve ‘rapidly’.

WHEN IT MATTERS MOST, WE STAND TOGETHER
Difficult times test every football club and this is the first time for many years that Moors is experiencing such a period.
We remain an ambitious, inclusive and welcoming community club and it is these foundations which will serve us well at this time.
Recent performances and results have fallen well below expectations of the First team management, Board and our especially our loyal supporters, who deserve better.
We all put our heart and soul into this wonderful community club. Accordingly, we completely understand and share the collective frustration and disappointment and, most of all, we accept our responsibility to leave no stone unturned to put things right.
Within the club, we are looking at every angle to improve results whilst ensuring stability and being guided by the values and best interests of the club.
We knew this would be a transitional season as we implemented a medium term plan to get the club back to challenging at the top end of the table, after the last 2 relatively disappointing campaigns.
This has involved the strengthening of the Board with younger, experienced commercial blood but with equal passion and commitment to the long term sustainability of Moors.
We knew this would take time and clearly didn’t anticipate the poor start to the season.
We believe there are multiple mitigating circumstances but are in no doubt results need to improve rapidly.
We may have differences of opinion - that is the beauty of football - but one thing must never be in doubt: our collective commitment to serve the best interests of Solihull Moors.
Board, players, first team management, staff, and, most of all, supporters - we all have our part to play.
Our greatest strengths have always been our unity, our positivity and our mutual support.
These strengths are even more vital over the next few weeks and months.
Let’s get behind each other and the team - and all play our full part in lifting the mood and improving results.
Come on you Moors!
