Moral victories and silver linings only matter when you learn from them and don't make the same mistakes in the future. This has been the case for the Pelicans for at least 4 years now.

Pelicans did all the little/hustle things wrong in overtime. Multiple shot attempts blocked. Missed free throw. Denver scoring a put back on a missed free throw. Horrible.

The Pelicans just have to get a shot off at least on that final possession

Pelicans doing this without 2nd chance points is a sigh of relief

After last night you could kinda see this coming from the Pelicans after last night. Denver will make a run, but can the Pelicans maintain what they are doing now?

Over the next 25 Thursdays throughout this #NBA regular season, we'll feature one notable player to represent each of New Orleans' 25 seasons of franchise history. First up: Jamal Mashburn, who personified the team's immediate success in Crescent City: neworlns.co/4k9IGbw

They should still stick with Murray, Fears, Trey, Zion, Missi for the next few games. Mosley said he'd be evaluating this on a 5 game basis or so. You need to at least get that first before making a change.

I was just thinking that that swap would be perfect.

The Pelicans starting lineup of Murray, Fears, Trey, Zion, Missi had a net rating of - 36.4. One game and small sample size but worth noting

Swap Bey in for Fears and the net rating was +31.3. Even fewer possessions so all these stats are noise, but matches what we saw last night

Though end for the Pelicans. Credit to Zion for taking that shot

Pelicans have not been defending the gaps this quarter. Too easy for the Pacers. Pelicans can win this if they get a stop or two

Zion has shown those dominant flashes. Can Mosely find a way to use it a bit more consistently?

The only thing saving the Pelicans halfcourt offense tonight has been offensive rebounds and second chance points. This has been a slog in the 2nd half
