I encountered this guy strutting his colours and style for a welcoming female Spruce Grouse. Quite an emboldened male for sure. #ChaseTheWildWithin

One of the most melodic songsters in the Boreal forest is this fellow, the Wood Thrush. He's a very territorial protector. #ChaseTheWildWithin

This handsome fellow gets his name because he frequently sings sweet evening song into the twilight of vespers or dusk. #ChaseTheWildWithin
Back in April, I was afforded some time with an Osprey pair making the nest nice and ready for the soon to come offspring. #ChaseTheWildWithin
One of my favourite flycatchers is the Eastern Phoebe. It shares the name of my late aunt every time I hear its call. #ChaseTheWildWithin

I easily identify with the Indigo Bunting. A bold blue bird. But does everything appear as it seems? #ChaseTheWildWithin

Nice encounters with the male and female Summer Tanager a few weeks ago. However, they decided to show in different cities a few weeks apart. @ChaseTheWildWithin
A pleasure to spend time with this single year Black Bear cub recently spurned by his mother. A rather locked in gaze. #ChaseTheWildWithin

Every spring we see the White-crowned Sparrows as they migrate to northern Canada to breed. This is indeed a regal bird. #ChaseTheWildWithin
Look who was perched in hunt mode as we wandered through Algonquin. This Broad-winged Hawk was certainly being a regal raptor. #ChaseTheWildWithin
This was a great first encounter with a Momma Moose and her yearling calf at the start of our day. #ChaseTheWildWithin
An intriguing rare visitor stopped in at nearby farmer's fields to intake nourishment before continuing his onward journey. An awesome experience. #ChaseTheWildWithin
