We are seeing an increase in COVID-19 cases & changes in the variants circulating in NSW which tells us we are entering the next COVID-19 wave. Likely COVID cases will rise in the coming weeks. More info: health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious…
One of the little things you can do to protect yourself & others through this next wave is to wear a mask in indoor public places where you can't physically distance. You never know the circumstances of the person next to you & it will help protect you from respiratory illnesses
We are at the start of a 3rd COVID-19 Omicron wave and expect to see a significant rise in cases. Please continue to do the little things: stay home when unwell, test if you have symptoms & stay up to date with your vaccinations. More health.nsw.gov.au/news/Pages…
The free flu vaccine for all has been extended until 17 July. I encourage you to protect yourself and your family against flu this winter and get vaccinated as soon as possible
There are so many great events to look forward to in NSW this long weekend. Just remember when attending events, it's the little things that will make a big difference to everyone staying well - like testing before you go, wearing a mask in crowded places and staying home if sick
Ensuring information is accessible for our culturally and linguistically diverse communities is so important. Our latest resource on the free flu vaccine from

Keeping the community safe - we’ve come a long way, but with rising flu cases and COVID-19 still around, make sure you keep doing all the ‘little things’ that can keep us all safe this winter.

With signs of a severe influenza season already starting, we're strongly urging everyone aged 6 months and over to get a flu shot as soon as possible. A free flu jab is available to all NSW residents during the month of June.

Women play a key leadership role in the COVID-19 response and many other aspects of healthcare delivery. It’s inspiring to be surrounded by passionate, driven people with a ‘can do’ spirit. Thank you for your super human efforts, we couldn’t do this without you!
I have been very touched by the kindness and generosity of the NSW community. I have enjoyed reading your cards and passed on your messages of thanks to my health colleagues.
It’s been an extraordinary year, and I want to thank New South Wales residents for all your support.
I am proud to be Australian and honored to be a part of the ‘My Australia’ bitesize docuseries, a diverse and inclusive look into modern Australia’s DNA.
Reflect. Respect. Celebrate.
