Working closely with our First Nations communities is important to the #nswrfs. Members from @NSWRFSNWAC recently attended a cultural burn in Warren, organised by the Local Land Services and conducted by Aboriginal man Dan Barber.

The #NSWRFS continue to assist the @NSWSES in flood affected towns & villages across #NSW. With further rain forecast this week one of the RFS choppers has been prepositioned to Tamworth. This chopper can then be used for flood rescues, damaged assessments & resupply missions.

Today Minister Elliott joined @robrfs and @FewtrellJeremy to highlight the grass fire risk for NSW this season. Recent wet weather has seen significant grass & crop growth across the state this will be problematic for firefighters & landholders as it begins to dry out. #NSWRFS
