actually decided today that i will not be doing my best for the rest of the year. y’all gon get what you get because I am tired.
Resist the urge to “finish strong” this year. We’re taking baby steps for the rest of 2021 and arriving in 2022 recharged.

Would love to see crowdfunding done in Ontario to put something like this in our major papers. It’s sad that we can’t rely on our public health units to put out this information.

The issues are global but the work is *local*. I highly encourage any medical students, residents, and physicians who do not identify as Black to consider applying to the new @bmsacanada Allyship Collective. The goal is to support #EDI work by Black students in your region!
Are you a Canadian medical student, resident, physician, or community member that does NOT identify as Black? Did you pledge to contribute to advancing anti-racism work in the summer of 2020? The BMSAC is proud to introduce the pilot of our BMSAC Allyship Collective.

I don't understand folks assuming the workforce shortage is b/c people don't want to work. Over 700k people died from Covid - many Frontline Workers (bus drivers, food service, HCWs etc) & many more are disabled from Covid. Honestly, the ignorance is so infuriating #Covid_19

From the beginning, Roe was the floor, not the ceiling. We need to go beyond Roe to eliminate barriers to abortion care, including economic, racial, & immigration injustices & coverage bans like Hyde. #AbortionJustice #BeBoldEndHyde

yesterday my friend said, “i’m glad you’re doing well.” I responded with something like, “oh I’m not doing well at all,” because I refuse to condition myself to believe that simply not drowning everyday is the best I deserve.

Now that I have 100K followers, I want to talk about #OvarianCancer. Specifically my gritty story. The goal is awareness. I hope you find this narrative informative.

As someone who was consulted on the Science Table / SickKids guidelines I can tell you with 100% certainty: @Sflecce did NOT listen. In fact, the only details he cherry-picked from our document were ones that don’t cost him a dime and allow hygiene theatre to be perpetuated.

This is my candid letter of resignation to my Harvard Dean. I try to tell the unvarnished truth about the decadence in our market-driven universities! Let us bear witness against this spiritual rot!

I heard a new term yesterday that describes a common form of racism experienced by Indigenous people in the healthcare system: acts of omission. It is when basic elements of care like history-taking, physical examinations, testing, referrals and consultations are not done.

I’m particularly troubled by the tone and attitude in this email to constituents. Regardless of your feelings about the horrors being uncovered in Canada, the fact that @lparkpc could send this out knowing the disrespect that is being shown to Indigenous peoples is beyond words.

Ladies and Gentlemen: Our June Cover Star, @Simone_Biles.   25 World Championship medals. Four never-before-been-done moves named after her. One gravity-defying legacy. Simone Biles is without a doubt the world’s greatest gymnast in history. glmr.co/GYh7FDm

It feels like some of us are always grieving, always having to assert our humanity. The exhaustion.

many news stories about the attack in London include photos of PM Trudeau looking sad. we saw this after the Quebec mosque shootings too Trudeau's govt keeps no-fly lists full of Muslims & spies on Muslim communities, but media highlights his apparent sadness about Islamophobia
