Shocking!! It’s now revealed that Tshwane failed to act despite repeated warnings about the quality of its water.
Failed to implement its own plans and even worse failed to warn residents about the dangers of consuming the unsafe water.
Failure after failure! all in the name of protecting a social media mayoral campaign! Shame!! @CityTshwane

Shockingly, the City of Tshwane has admitted that it was warned as early as February about the impending Bronkospruit water crisis. It didn’t even implement its own plan of addressing the issue. Not surprised though. They were busy with that Tshwane ya tima nonsense!

“As Moya moved to suspend the plant manager this week, blaming him for failing to alter the metro to the lack of chlorine, it emerged that the department of water and sanitation had issued a letter of noncompliance to the municipality over the Bronkhorspruit plant in February…”

Sunday Times reports that Tshwane municipality ignored repeated warnings about the Bronkohorspruit treatment plant while continuing to supply residents with contaminated water. Mayor Moya is said to have received at least 3 reports on water quality months leading up to the crisis
SA is NOT a Christian country.
Replying to @humzwrld @thee_aura
Yes, South Africa is a Christian country. Our constitution was shaped by Christian values and history, even our national anthem. A country where 80%+ of the people are Christian is a Christian nation.

Pork has always been cheaper than beef
Beef prices have also increased significantly because of Foot and Mouth disease in cattle.
I think you are missing the point.
Halaal attracts a premium and increases the price of food and this is a serious issue we need to raise as we are facing a cost of living crisis.
It’s strange to put a “tax” on food to make sure it complies only to a minority of the country.
Here is an example…
Beef products are generally more expensive than pork products but it’s not double the price but below we see 125g of Roast Beef is almost the same price at 250g of Pork because it is halaal.
Should the average South African be inconvenienced to drive around finding cheaper roast beef just to convenience minority ? Surely, they should have a speciality butchery
