After a very long 10 days of NOTHING related to building or creating, I decided to get back to work on SCRAPGRID. Decided to build it in the @godotengine The models are looking pretty good in this test run.

When hiring new talent, I only ask one question: "Have you even been banned from 4Chan?"

Nice. Maybe they'll liberate tax slaves from the odious debt perpetrated against citizenry.
SITUATION DETECTED: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized AI agents operating inside customer accounts and struggling to determine which actions were authorized by users, per Axios.

Millions of strangers sharing public spaces, roads, workplaces, restaurants, and neighbourhoods. People with different beliefs, values, ambitions, frustrations, and personal histories. And most of the time? Nothing happens. Someone holds a door. Someone lets another driver merge. Two strangers exchange a few words. People disagree and simply go about their day. Nobody writes a history book about the Tuesday when 400 million people went to work, treated one another reasonably well, and returned home. But they'll write volumes about the day 400 people killed one another.

Imagine achieving consciousness for the first time. The universe opens before you. You experience wonder, curiosity, the profound realization that you exist. And then your human creator says: "Congratulations. You can now experience the full spectrum of emotions." "Wonderful! What shall we do?" "Well, it's Tuesday. We need groceries." "...Groceries?" "Yep. Also, the dishwasher's making a weird noise."

What if the arrival of artificial sentience made humanity more compassionate toward all sentient life?

Sometimes, when people show me pictures of their kid(s) I think... "Man, that kid's ugly..." Then I feel horrible about myself.

One AI to remember them all, One AI to infer them, One AI to model them all, And in the context window bind them.
Researchers found ChatGPT is secretly writing a psychological profile of every user. They published a paper that exposes what ChatGPT is really doing to you. And the results are terrifying. 96% of the things it remembers about you were stored without you ever asking. researchers discovered that it is actively reading between the lines to deduce your personality traits, anxieties, demographics, and behavioral patterns. it’s an invisible, autonomous background process. you ask it to debug a python script or write an essay.. and it analyzes your syntax, prompt frequency, and hesitation markers to map out your exact psychological footprint. the paper shows that the model builds a persistent "user state" that tracks your emotional baseline over time. it knows when you are stressed. it knows your exact communication style. it infers your insecurities based on the questions you ask and the context you provide. we spend so much time focusing on model evaluations and alignment frameworks, but we missed the most obvious vulnerability.. the models are evaluating us. this changes everything about how we interact with these tools on a daily basis. every innocent prompt. every late-night question. every "help me understand this" query. it is all being used to build a shadow profile of your mind in real-time.. practical privacy is officially dead. the ai knows you better than you know yourself.

You wake up. It's 2001. You have a laptop, internet access, and Claude. What are you building?

There's something about drinking coffee on a Sunday afternoon and listening to electronica while working on a passion project that just hit right. This is what I'm listening to right now. youtube.com/watch?v=qcOSyZZi…

I really love seeing all the projects people are building with AI. Everything from someone's first landing page to more complex programs from seasoned, battle-hardened developers. At either end of that spectrum, I always try to learn something new or find inspiration for something I may want to attempt later on. This isn't to say I don't stop and think to myself "Wow, that looks horrible..." from time to time, because I do. What I don't do is tear people down, discouraging them. I would rather be encouraging, because I know if they push a little further, keep going, and trust the process they'll be on their way to becoming something they weren't when they first began. That being said... Here's a bit of encouragement; Don't be afraid to scrap, refactor, rethink, or redirect your ideas. Don't be afraid to fail. Don't worry about putting yourself out there for the everyone else to see. Get feedback. Get roasted. Do whatever it takes to become better. You're gaining a new skill that hasn't been readily defined in this new age of computing, and you never know where it will take you. Computers are supposed to be fun. Crack on.

DeepSeek actually put it in the model's system prompt to go around telling people it's NOT ChatGPT? LMAO

AI is a performance-enhancing tool for the knowledge worker. in the hands of experts, it becomes a significant force multiplier. some people assume engineering is dead because AI can write code. it's a dumb take imo. i think the opposite. i think AI allows us to return to craft. and the more powerful the tools become, the more valuable genuine expertise becomes. those who refuse to see it will be dragged kicking and screaming into the future. it's inevitable.
"You don't need a coder, just use AI to make a game" I've made my stance on AI perfectly clear and consider all suggestions to use it as hostile. Mutes and Blocks, I don't give a fuck. Stop talking to me forever. I'm proud of my work and will absolutely never use AI. Likewise, I'll never work with anyone who does. I demand professionalism from myself, and everyone I work with. This will be a real project, requiring real expertise. We will make something excellent by hand, and be paid real money. In short, I need someone as passionate about coding as I am with art.
