So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Why does a 500+ acre data center have a tiny parking lot?
Because almost no one works there. These sites are not offices or factories. They’re giant machines.
Once built, a hyper scale campus often runs with 50–200 people on site — technicians, security, facilities. Highly automated. Mostly monitored remotely.
The land isn’t for people. It’s for:
- massive power gear
- cooling systems
- security buffers
- future expansion
Construction is the opposite: thousands of workers for a couple years. Then they leave.
That’s why the building is huge and the parking lot looks like it belongs to a dentist’s office.
So, explain to me again why giving up 500+acres for a data center that destroys the resources of the land around them and will only employ 50-200 (mostly H-1B's) is so beneficial we must bow down to them?
