Our teachers & staff were engaged in a day full of learning and planning to ensure a great start to Q2. We provided grilled food for them to express our appreciation for the things they do. #WinWithNapier #EveryTigerKnown @MetroSchools
Today was full of great moments. Creative Kids Rock provided our students with 8-days full of expressive arts. Scholars have learned aboutmindfulness and how to deal with emotions through yoga, music, and splatter painting. 🎨 @MetroSchools @DrKSeay @mnps_fcp #EveryTigerKnown

Yesterday our scholars got to take part in National Historical Marker Day and learn more about the prominent J.C. Napier while cleaning off the sign. These leaders were proud and we couldn’t be even more prouder 😊🧼 @MetroSchools @MetroNashville @DrKSeay #EveryTigerKnown

Our MNPS community is mourning the loss of two Antioch High School students Wednesday in a tragic shooting. We are thinking of everyone affected by this shocking and unimaginable loss.
Antioch High will be closed Thursday and Friday, January 23-24, to give students and staff time to grieve. MNPS will be using the Southeast Community Center, 5260 Hickory Hollow Parkway, to provide resources and support for staff, students, and families at Antioch High. Grief counseling, hot meals, and food boxes will be provided.
