We are proud to welcome the first Safe Haven Baby Box to the Kansas City community at Northland Station 14. Every child deserves a safe start in life, and every parent facing a difficult situation should know that safe options are available. This Safe Haven Baby Box provides a secure, anonymous way for mothers in crisis to surrender an infant while ensuring the baby receives immediate care. In Missouri, we have already seen these types of boxes save lives in other municipalities.
I want to thank Reverend Kenny Pegue for blessing the box and Monica Kelsey, CEO of Safe Haven Baby Boxes, for joining us for this special occasion. This initiative would not have been possible without the leadership of my good friend, KCFD Battalion Chief Kelsey Whetro.
Thank you to Station 14 and all our first responders for your dedication to keeping our community safe! #ForTheNorthland

Defending National Champ Brent Vigen may have just made a huge mistake. Idaho caught a pass in bounds for a first down at the 25 with 0:01 left, down 7. There would be no time to spike the ball. Vigen called a timeout.

It's just insane the amount of enormous construction projects in the pipeline in the KC metro. The two stadiums, every major hospital doing 8 figure expansions, data centers, new entertainment venues, CC Plaza, so much more. Any young person willing to work hard in some of the more specialized trades - electrical, HVAC, etc etc could easily have a solid decade of high-paying work. What I'm hearing are subcontractors just flat turning work away for the next 2-3 years due to the amount of work and lack of trained labor.

On what would have been her 107th birthday, Loyola is proud to unveil a commemorative statue of Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, BVM.
Happy “816” Day, KC! Had the privilege of naming Gina Bowman as one of our city’s champions this year.
Gina founded and chaired the KC Ag Business Council, has been key part in supporting many great local institutions, and is a great neighbor!
Congrats to all the champions citywide. #ForTheNorthland
Welcomed the 187th entrant officer class as they were sworn in as official KCPD officers. This outstanding class of 42 individuals is our largest recruitment class in over 20 years. Thank you to these men & women for stepping up to serve our city!

By unanimous consent, the #Senate agreed to S. Res. 833. Recognizing the 1960 University of Missouri Tigers Football team for its undefeated regular season, orange bowl victory and claim to the 1960s National championship.
Being able to run for Congress on the 250th anniversary year of the greatest country to ever exist was an absolute privilege. Although this was not the outcome we had worked for - proud to give North Missourians a choice.
I cannot thank our supporters enough - people who prayed for us, donated time, donated money, and who have been with us every step of the way.
We have built friendships with so many great people across North Missouri. I will cherish the memories on the trail forever.
I want to thank all the groups that endorsed our campaign and the members of their organizations: Missouri Fraternal Order of Police, IAFF 3808, Missouri Right to Life, Missouri Farm Bureau, Missouri Soybeans, and Missouri Cattlemen’s. Your trust in me and our campaign means so much.
I want to congratulate Chris Stigall on winning the primary. I will be praying for Chris, his wife Christine, and their family as they head towards the November election.
For North Missouri,
Nathan Willett
