Yesterday, on April 5th, we commemorated the 31st Palestinian Children’s Day. We remember the children who sleep alone because the genocidal entity has orphaned them, stripping them from their parents' warm embrace, the children detained in zionist dungeons, children psychologically devastated by lives shaped through relentless hardships, and children forced to grow wise beyond their years. We remember children enduring forced starvation—babies drinking water instead of milk, wrapped in rags instead of diapers; children consuming grass to quiet the ache of hunger; and children dying from maternal malnutrition and within incubators before getting the chance to reach maturation. Children without shelter, displaced again and again, made to wander through ruin. Children denied education. Children forced to become the breadwinners of their families. We remember children killed while seeking aid at aid drops and distribution sites. We remember children maimed, bodies torn, hanging from buildings, or incinerated beyond recognition; children whose bodies are reduced to bargaining chips by the occupation; and children beheaded in tent massacres. Children shot 355 times by zionist tanks, and children violently stabbed 26 times by a white supremacist hate crime in the United States. Children forced to grow wise beyond their years. We remember the children whose names and stories we carry and those who remain unnamed, their absence no less real. Every child is an entire world; every martyr, a universe. And yet, Palestinian children, the inheritors of the struggle, endure. They dream of a day where they are able to hear the birds instead of bombs. Where they know that a tomorrow is granted for them, instead of a childhood cut short, collecting water for their families, playing among rubble instead of open fields, or reenacting funeral processions with dolls. The occupation has imposed artificial borders meant to sever them from the world, and yet they remain unsuccessful. Palestinian children hold a sacred place in our collective hearts. Palestinian children have taught the world life.

Zionist terrorism is escalating in Lebanon. Approximately 34,00 Lebanese have been displaced since the zionist entity increased it’s bombardment campaing across the South, the Beqaa Valley, and Beirut. For over 15 hours, traffic from the South has been backed up with displaced residents fleeing zionist aggression on their homes, schools, hospitals, and livelihoods. The Dahye Doctrine is in full effect as the U.S.-Zionist alliance continues to commit unspeakable war crimes under the lackluster guise of “strategy,” exponentially adding to the catastrophic damage Lebanon has yet to recover from since the previous round of zionist escalation against the country. For the past 15 months, the zionist entity has violated the ceasefire with Lebanon approximlately 15,000 times and has refused to withdraw from the illegal occupation that is ongoing in the South. The U.S.-Zionist alliance is unleashing hell on the Middle East, bringing displacement, death, and destruction to the region that has never been able to rest and rebuild. The imperialist death cult must be dismantled. Our hearts are with the people from Beirut to Ain el-Hilweh to Nabatiyeh to Beqaa to Marjaayoun to Khiam to Bint Jbeil to Naqoura to Tyre to Tehran to Gaza. May the struggle for liberation lead you all to the untouched lives you’ve always dreamt of. .الله يحمي لبنان. الله يحمي شعب الجنوب

23 years later, the state has expanded its capacity for surveillance, detention, and violence through increased funding for ICE. We must remember that the struggle against oppression is connected from Palestine to Minneapolis to Havana to Darfur. ICE in its current form is merely an extension of the American imperialist agenda, only there is simply less effort to skew public perception with facades of “accountability and transparency.” Just as it was birthed during an era of enslavement, the constitution remains enshrined as a document that upholds white supremacy. It is through this lens— through the recognition that systems of imperialist and colonialist domination operate exactly as intended— that we must understand domestic and foreign policy. Abolition is not the ceiling— it is the bare minimum. Abolish ICE now.

Earlier this morning, US and zionist forces conducted terrorist strikes on half a dozen cities in Iran unprovoked. A few hours later, zionist forces struck a children’s school in Iran, killing over 50 children. The same comprador regimes which allowed US zionist forces to use their airspace to bomb Iran are now intercepting missiles over their countries, leaving the debris to fall on their own citizens in the interest of protecting US zionist bases in the region. As we move closer to our Ramadan week of action, we understand that this is a time where our responsibility as the leading anti-imperialist force on campus is being tested. We have a duty to halt the war machine and defend the sovereignty of a country which US zionist forces seek to dismantle in the interest of subduing our cause. We call on chapters to mobilize against the war on campus, defend Iran’s sovereignty, and break the zionist war machine.

U.S. aggression against Iran has been escalating for decades. Now, the U.S. is directly threatening the sovereignty of the Iranian state as alleged “attempts at diplomacy” reach a boiling point. The empire is well aware that its demands for Iran mean ceding sovereignty altogether and subordinating the state’s military and technological capabilities to the U.S.-led order. The military aggression we see today is an elaborate posture meant to strong-arm Iran into a deal, one Iran has made clear it has no intention of agreeing to.

We reject the notion that the maintenance of Iranian sovereignty is against the interests of the Iranian masses. Imperial militarism has never been a means to liberation, stability, or any form of meaningful improvement for any society.

No war on Iran!

We commend the hunger strikers of the Filton 24 and Brize Norton 5 for their bravery and success in challenging and overturning the British state’s training contract with Elbit Systems, and achieving their other demands. With Heba, Kamran, and Lewie ending their strikes, all eyes must be on Umer Khalid, who is in critical condition with his demands unmet. Visit prisonersforpalestine.org for live updates, demands lists, and action items.

The violence of the state is expanding with the increase of I.C.E terror squad presence across our communities. To everyone who has been kidnapped, maimed, murdered, and separated from their loved ones by American fascism: the national student movement for Palestine stands in full solidarity with you in the struggle against I.C.E. and other government forces that are plaguing our schools, hospitals, train stations, airports, and streets. The general strike in Minneapolis on Friday, January 23rd was only the beginning, with another general strike being called nationally for Friday, January 30th. We demand justice for Keith Porter, Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Heber Sanchaz Dominguez, Victor Manuel Diaz, Parady La, Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz, Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres, Geraldo Lunas Campos, and everyone who has been killed/harmed by the state through intentional neglect and abuse. It is our duty to stand up for our neighbors and against the American death machine. From Palestine to Minneapolis, militarism against the oppressed must be challenged and defeated.

On Tuesday, iOF soldiers raided and opened fire on Birzeit university, injuring over 40 people, the majority of which were students. The iOF claims it was dispersing a “pro-terror gathering,” when in reality students were convening for a sit-in in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in israeli jails. Students suffered injuries from tear gas, live rounds, and more. Over 8,000 students were on campus at the time of the raid, and the iOF also seized students possessions and damaged university property. Birzeit University, a hotspot for Palestinian intellectual thought, has always been a target for the iOF due to it being one of the few remaining Palestinian universities in the West Bank. From 2004 to 2019, the university was raided 14 times. Since October 7, the university has seen increased attacks, with several raids throughout 2023, 2024, and 2025. The attacks on Birzeit University are part of a wider zionist agenda to curb and curtail Palestinian education, and to wipe out Palestinian intellectual thought. Scholasticide is an integral part of the zionist entities aims of Palestinian erasure, which we see manifest in Gaza with the destruction of every university in the Strip. National SJP condemns in the strongest terms the iOF raid on Birzeit University. From the homeland to the diaspora, the student movement remains united.

Yesterday, an ICE death squad sent to terrorize communities in Minnesota murdered Renee Nicole Good in cold blood, a mother of 3 and a legal observer. Renee was shot in the head at point blank range while attempting to drive away from two ICE agents. In her glovebox, baby toys were strewn around, which belonged to her children. Her wife watched. Following the shooting, ICE barred an ambulance from entering the scene, denying medical attention to Renee, and even congratulating each other and patting each other on the back. Just last weekend, Keith Porter was also executed by ICE while standing outside his home. Renee and Keith join the dozens of victims of ICE, a hypermilitarized death squad built off of and sustained by the American police, the most advanced carceral system in the world. The imperial boomerang has arrived: the fascism that has always been exterted against the Global South and the nationally oppressed is now emboldened to express itself domestically, without concealing its nature or intentions. ICE death squads will come into your neighborhood and abduct your neighbors, and they will shoot and kill you if you fight back. The dissolution of ICE and the system that birthed it is the only justice we will accept, justice only achieved through action. Join mobilizations, protect your neighbors, and fight to dismantle ICE immediately.

Solidarity forever. Solidarity with all the families terrorized by the American gestapo and with all the people of good consciousness who refuse to stand down in the struggle against fascism.

Early yesterday morning, the United States of Terror abducted Venezuelan President Maduro and First Lady Flores in a joint “special military operation,” bombing multiple sovereign military assets utilizing 150 jets from the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, and kidnapping both state leaders to stand “trial” in New York. This extreme violation of Venezuelan sovereignty should come as no surprise: the United States has a vested interest in overturning the few remaining left-wing and anti-imperialist states in South and Central America, and a vested interest in Venezuela’s vast oil reserves—the largest of any nation in the world. As the U.S. ruling class and their political puppets indicate their intention to engage Iran directly and tensions between the empire and China rise, this attempt at regime change in Venezuela must be understood as a desperate seizure of critical resources in the face of a potentially globalized war. We condemn the abduction of President Maduro and First Lady Flores, and all acts of terror committed by the United States and its proxies. As Hugo Chavez said: “Go to hell, Yankee shits, here stands a dignified people. Go to hell a hundred times, we are the sons of Bolivar!”

This Christmas, as Christians around the world commemorate this sacred holiday, it is necessary to recognize and reaffirm the undeniable Palestinian roots of Christmas and its inseparable connection to the Holy Land. Across the globe, Christmas is celebrated through traditions and iconography deeply rooted in Palestinian history and customs, yet these origins are overwhelmingly ignored, which is tenfold amid ongoing dismissals and justifications for ethnic cleansing, occupation, and violence against the land and its people in which Christianity was born. While Christians in the West sing carols retelling the stories of Palestinian cities such as Bethlehem, Nazareth, and Jerusalem, these same cities remain under the brutal rule of zionist occupation. Through this process, these historic cities are colonized, whitewashed, and stripped of their narratives and histories. This Christmas, we reclaim the indignity of the holiday and its roots in the Palestinian land and people. Zionism, as a colonial political identity, stands in direct contradiction with the principles that Jesus and Christianity preach, and yet Western zionist Christians will support the continued existence of the zionist entity under the guise of evangelical beliefs. Palestinians across the Holy Land, from Bethlehem to Nazareth to Gaza, all remain subjected to oppression under zionist occupation.
