🚨 URGENT: ₦5,046,000 DEBITED FROM A GTBANK ACCOUNT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION I am publicly seeking urgent intervention from @gtbank and @cenbank regarding an unauthorized transaction involving ₦5,046,000 from my husband’s GTBank account. At the time the money was taken: His phone was physically with him. • His ATM/debit card was also with him. • He did NOT click any suspicious link. • He did NOT give his PIN, OTP, password, or verification code to anyone. • He did NOT authorize the transaction. He went to the GTBank branch at his workplace which is Ilupeju Lagos to report the incident, yesterday which was 29th of September 2026,at first they said the money was transferred to flutawaves @theflutterwave⁠� that from there it was transferred to @moniepointng but on getting there today which is 30th September we were told that there was nothing they could do about it. How can ₦5,046,000 leave a customer's account without his authorization, while his phone and ATM card remain in his possession? We are requesting: An urgent investigation into how the transaction was initiated. The destination account(s)/beneficiary details involved. Immediate steps to trace and, where possible, recover the funds. @gtbank — please escalate this matter to your fraud/security team immediately. @cenbank — we respectfully request your intervention and guidance regarding this complaint, particularly as the branch has told us they cannot assist. We have the transaction records and supporting evidence and can provide them privately through the appropriate official channels. Attach to this are the debit alert gotten on mail from GTB Please RT/share so this reaches the appropriate authorities and GTBank's escalation team.
