"I came here today to walk among a silent crowd, to find a moment of peace in the quiet."
St. Anne's Cemetery in Annapolis operates as part of a 300-year-old parish committed to inclusion and justice.
The garden sits between College Creek and a hillside, featuring a brick plaza with columns that mirror the cemetery entrance. Native plantings sweep along the slope while flowering trees provide shade and buffer nearby traffic noise.
Visitors leave journal entries here, adding their own reflections to this space designed for remembrance and quiet connection.
