Having lived through the age of downloading a 3MB file overnight on rural dialup, I am feeling an amazing wave of gratitude this morning as I am able to download a 200MB file in no time at all while sitting at a coffee shop.
Thankful for evening runs to think. It’s taken me about 2 weeks, but I feel as if I’m starting to recover from this last tour cycle. Brain is starting to work again.
Oh, there you are, JavaScript boulder. You rolled all the way back down the hill again! Silly, you. C'mon, up the hill we go. C'mmonnnn.
Day 20, 21, 22 - Past week has not been kind to my learning endeavors. Three zero days in a row. Welp! It is interesting taking a step back and seeing how life events directly impact my ability to focus and get things done. #100DaysOfCode
Day 18 & 19 - I think it’s good to capture the icky bits of learning to code. I started a Node.js tutorial the other day and fell asleep. Sometimes I think I’m more in love with the idea of being able to code, versus actually coding. Onwards! #100DaysOfCode
How am I expected to get anything done today when obscure winter sports need my full and undivided attention? Looking at you, biathlon.
Day 16 & 17 - Starting Node.js and Express this week. Dropping in. Going to get soooo pitted. #100Devs #100DaysOfCode youtube.com/watch?v=Oe421EPj…
Day 14 & 15 - Trying to do a better job of setting specific short term goals to grease the mental wheels. Rough two days. Got a little bit done, but not enough to move the needle. Onwards! #100DaysOfCode
Day 12 & 13 - Rude awakening. Trying to code stuff without a tutorial, is like, hard. #100DaysOfCode
Welp. I suppose if I'm going to go for a run today, now is the time. Come hither, summer daylight hours! I miss thee!
