Its more framing of promo material sorta hinted at a more ensamble team like cast. S1 had David and Lucy mainly the focus and they take forefront which some did not like. The Edgerunners 2 had it sorta as if it'd be a team vibe but instead it was sorta just 2 kinda there stories.
Well its more like how it's shown. David and Lucy were the most prominent characters and therefore were shown as a focus with everyone being supporting. Edgerun 2 shows a four cast ensamble but instead was two 2 character shows.
