I remember everything like it was just yesterday.
From the day you were born, to those sleepless nights when I had to wake up in the middle of the night to change your diapers and prepare your bottles of milk.
I still remember your very first day of school. The moment I dropped you off at the gate, watching you walk away while silently worrying if you were going to be okay without me by your side.
And now, here we are. I’m sitting beside you, teaching you how to drive.
In just one more year, you’ll be graduating from high school.
Where did all the time go?
It feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms, and now I’m watching you take the wheel and slowly find your own way in life.
As a father, it’s a beautiful feeling watching you grow, but there’s also a part of me that wishes I could slow down time, even just for a little while.
No matter how old you get or how far life takes you, you’ll always be that little boy I once held in my arms.
Time flies, but the memories of raising you will stay with me forever.
