If you aren’t hearing about good guys with guns it is because your news is lying to you.
These sort of things happen all the time, FBI data says over 500,000 times a year.
Every life lost is a tragedy but guns save far more lives every year than they take.
Major American television networks barely gave this story thirty seconds of airtime, because what happened at a graduation party in Charleston, West Virginia, did not fit their script.
On the evening of May 25, 2022, around forty neighbors, parents, and young children gathered outside an apartment complex in Charleston to celebrate a high school graduation and birthday party.
When thirty-seven-year-old Dennis Butler, a violent criminal with four prior felony convictions, sped his car down the street right past the playing children, parents politely asked him to slow down.
Thirty minutes later, Butler came back for revenge. He parked his car, pulled out a stolen AR-15-style rifle, and opened fire directly into the crowd of forty mothers and kids.
He never got to reload. Standing among the families was a law-abiding American woman with zero police or military background, carrying a legally concealed nine-millimeter pistol in her waistband.
While everyone else dove for the grass, she stood her ground, drew her handgun, and fired across the yard, fatally striking the gunman in seconds.
Not a single child or guest at that party was scratched. The next morning, Charleston Chief of Detectives Tony Hazelett told reporters that instead of a mass casualty tragedy, one brave woman saved dozens of American lives.
They are changing the rules in the last week of the election to favor the democrats.
Most people would think of this as cheating. The only way we fix it is to vote them out!! (And vote YES on the initiatives to save girls sports, parents rights and your own income!! )

🇺🇸 AMERICA IS CLOSER TO A TURNING POINT THAN MANY REALIZE.
Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, gun owners, Amish, Black Americans and other minorities: STAY IN LINE AND VOTE REPUBLICAN UP AND DOWN THE BALLOT.
November 3, 2026, is the first test. 2028 is the next.
The objective is simple: keep the country moving toward prosperity and stop the radical Left from gaining control. Then deal with the RINOs who keep undermining the movement from within.
Look across the spectrum. The foundational pieces are being put in place. Results take time to materialize, and yes, the cost of living is still hurting families. There is still work to do.
But don't confuse today's pain with tomorrow's potential.
VOTE FOR THE FUTURE YOU WANT. STAY THE COURSE. FINISH THE JOB.
America does not need another cycle of surrender, regret and starting over.
It's doable. 🇺🇸
A little background on the history of social security.
HISTORY LESSON ON YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD:
Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn’t know this. It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your family and friends. They need a little history lesson on what’s what and it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are FACTS.
Up until the 1980's, Social Security cards expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes.
Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the "NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION" message was removed.
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. His promises are in black, with updates in brackets.
1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary [No longer voluntary],
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program [Now 7.65% on the first $90,000, and 15% on the first $90,000 if you’re self-employed],
3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year [No longer tax deductible],
4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program [Under Johnson the money was moved to the General Fund and spent], and
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income [Under Clinton & Gore up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed].
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’ — you may be interested in the following:
Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate.
Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?
A: The Democratic Party.
Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?
A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US
AND MY FAVORITE:
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?
A: That’s right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!
Now, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!
And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, though. Some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn’t so — but it’s worth a try.

Before the weekend ends and America moves on to the next headline, we need to pause and look at a story that matters more than almost any other—the collapse of Venezuela, and what it warns us about if the last democratic superpower ever falls the same way.
History WILL repeat itself when it is ignored …
This didn’t happen overnight. It happened step by step, over one generation.
VENEZUELA: HOW A PROSPEROUS NATION COLLAPSED
1992
Venezuela is the 3rd richest country in the Western Hemisphere, powered by oil and a growing middle class.
1997
Venezuelans become the 2nd largest buyers of Ford F-150s—a sign of widespread prosperity.
1998
Hugo Chávez is elected, promising to “redistribute wealth” and fix inequality.
2001
The country votes again for socialism, framed as compassion and fairness.
2003
The government imposes price controls and currency controls.
Black markets appear. Shortages begin.
2004
Private healthcare is fully socialized.
2006
Inflation rises sharply as massive welfare programs expand without real economic backing.
2007
All higher education becomes “free.”
2008
Key industries—oil services, steel, cement, telecom—are nationalized.
Production drops almost immediately.
2009
Private gun ownership is banned.
2010
The currency is devalued by 50%, crushing savings and accelerating inflation.
2011
Oil production begins a steady decline due to mismanagement and lack of investment.
2012
American politicians, like Bernie Sanders, publicly praise Venezuela’s model.
2013
Chávez dies. Nicolás Maduro takes power and tightens state control.
2014
Opposition leaders are arrested or silenced.
2015
GDP collapses. Hyperinflation begins.
2016
Severe food and medical shortages spread nationwide.
2017
The constitution is suspended. Elections are no longer meaningful.
2018
Inflation exceeds 1,000,000%. Maduro “wins” a widely fraudulent election.
2019
Unarmed civilians are killed by their own government.
2020
More than 8 million people flee the country to escape hunger and repression.
2023
Minor economic improvements fail to relieve mass poverty.
2024
Disputed elections trigger protests and global isolation.
2026
Maduro is removed by force. Venezuela is liberated after decades of ruin.
THE HARD TRUTH
It took one generation of “progressive” leadership to turn one of the richest countries on Earth into a nation defined by hunger, fear, mass graves, and mass migration.
This is the lesson history keeps teaching:
You can vote your way into socialism.
But history shows people only escape it through collapse, violence, or foreign intervention.
And here is the part Americans must understand clearly:
If this happens in the United States, there will be nobody coming to save us.
No outside superpower.
No rescue force.
No second chance.
Freedom is fragile. Prosperity is not guaranteed.
And once lost, they are brutally hard to recover.
Venezuela’s people paid the price.
America cannot afford to learn this lesson the same way.
Kathleen Leininger
If Dems take power in DC they will reopen the boarder and fly illegals immigrants back into America.
Why do they hate us so much and why don’t we hate them back.
Vote RED for r we will end up like Europe.
🔥🚨 JAW-DROPPING BETRAYAL! 🚨🔥
Hakeem Jeffries was asked POINT-BLANK if a Democrat-controlled House would BRING BACK the illegal aliens Trump already deported to third countries (like Africa):
Reporter: “Will the Congress under your leadership bring back the [illegal aliens] deported to third countries?”
Jeffries NODS YES repeatedly 👀 and says: “We do.”
Then drops this bombshell:
“Trump’s mass deportation machine does NOT get a DIME.”
Translation? Hand Democrats the gavel in November and they’ll DEFUND ICE, halt deportations, and try to REVERSE the ones already done — flying people BACK into America on YOUR dime while families struggle with groceries, rent, and crime.
This is the plan. Out loud. No hiding it.
If they take the House, this is what “repair work” looks like to them.
VOTE. SHARE THIS. Don’t let them undo the border security Americans demanded. 🇺🇸

This is what is on the ballot right now!!!!
We either change direction and stop electing idiots who are destroying our state or we will face the same fate in every city and county in WA.
HAPPENING NOW: It’s a total sh*t show at 12th Ave & Jackson St in Seattle’s Chinatown-ID.
The drug den and black market of stolen goods is thriving this Saturday evening. The hoard is out of control.
Socialist Mayor Katie Wilson has thrown in the towel. @MayorofSeattle
Could WA Dems be any more stupid?
WSDOT admits that tearing down the Snake River Dams will cost $5 Billion+, and contribute about a quarter million tons of new CO2 emissions, per year.
It would also add a yearly maintenance cost of about $300 Million dollars, which is about the amount WSDOT spends today on highway maintenance FOR THE ENTIRE STATE OF WASHINGTON! None of these figures include the loss of power generation or the increase in utility bills, as clean and cheap hydroelectric capacity is reduced.
Seriously, Olympia Democrats need to stop wasting money on studies to tear down these dams. This latest study, for example, was $4 million in taxpayer money.

We must learn from the past or we are doomed to repeat it.
My dear American friends, in my last post I gave you a snapshot of where France stands today. Now let me show you how we got here. I want you to see the whole movie before you buy the ticket.
After the war, France was a machine. We called it the Trente Glorieuses, thirty glorious years. We built Concorde, the most beautiful aircraft ever made. We built a fleet of nuclear reactors in about fifteen years and gave ourselves some of the cleanest, cheapest electricity in the world. We built Ariane and put Europe in space. We built the TGV, the fastest train on earth. We invented the Minitel, an online network in millions of homes before most of you had heard of the internet. We were not a museum. We were builders.
Then came 1981. François Mitterrand. Think of him as our Bernie Sanders, except he actually won. At his side, in the office next to his at the Élysée, sat a 37-year-old prodigy named Jacques Attali, his special adviser for the next ten years. The brightest minds of the left, convinced they could run an economy from a ministry.
Here's what they did. They governed with Communist ministers. In 1982 they nationalized dozens of banks and the biggest industrial groups in the country: Paribas, Suez, Saint-Gobain, Thomson, Pechiney, Rhône-Poulenc. They lowered the retirement age to 60. They cut the work week to 39 hours and added a fifth week of paid vacation. They created a wealth tax. They hired massively into the public sector.
Reality hit in less than two years. Capital fled, inflation ran wild, and the franc was devalued three times. In March 1983 Mitterrand had to slam on the brakes and impose austerity just to stay in the European monetary system.
But here's the trick: the brakes never reversed anything. They just slowed the ratchet. The so-called right came back with Jacques Chirac, and nothing was undone. Under Chirac's presidency, France passed the 35-hour work week. Left or right, every government added one more program, one more rule, one more tax, and nobody ever took one away.
At the same time, the political class did something even more destructive than bad economics. It turned the youth into a political instrument. Instead of teaching young people, including millions of children of immigrants, to love the country they lived in, it taught them a story of guilt and grievance: France as the oppressor, France as the thing to resent. You cannot integrate people into a country you've taught them to despise. We are living with the consequences of that narrative today, in our schools, our suburbs, our streets.
Then forty years of slow decline, all the way to Macron. And the story has a perfect ending. In 2007, Jacques Attali chaired a commission on how to unleash French growth. Its deputy rapporteur was a young civil servant named Emmanuel Macron. The commission proposed more than 300 reforms to free the economy. Almost none were ever implemented. Even the men who built the system knew it wasn't working, and even they couldn't undo it.
No balanced budget since 1974. Public spending around 57% of GDP. Debt above 3,300 billion euros. Growth stuck under 1%.
Now the number that should keep you up at night. In 1995, GDP per person in France was about $27,000. In America, about $29,000. We were neck and neck. Today France is around $49,000. America is around $90,000. You are now nearly twice as rich per person as we are.
What changed? Not our talent. Not our engineers. Not our schools of mathematics. The only thing that changed is that we went all in on socialism. The 35 hours, the endless regulation, the taxes that chase out anyone who builds, the belief that the state should do everything and the individual should ask permission for everything.
There's a line people love to attribute to Einstein: insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. We tried. For forty years, we tried. Every government promised that one more program, one more tax, one more regulation would finally fix things. You just saw where it got us.
So if you choose the Democratic Party, which is literally turning socialist in front of your eyes, you will deserve what comes next.
Let me tell you exactly what will happen if you go down that road. Nobody will vote for decline. Every single measure will sound generous, compassionate, reasonable. Your builders will slowly leave or stop building. Your state will grow every year and never shrink. Your debt will compound. And in thirty years, your kids will look at a chart like the one I just described and wonder when it all went wrong.
You still have something we lost. You have Elon Musk sending rockets to orbit and landing them on their tail. You have Palmer Luckey building the defense industry of the future. You have Jeff Bezos, Jensen Huang, and thousands of founders nobody has heard of yet, building in garages right now.
Trust your entrepreneurs. Don't trust your politicians.
I come from your future. Don't make it yours.
Even the Seattle Times says the “Millionaires Tax” is just a starting point. Eventually it will apply to everyone. This may be our only chance to stop it.
It’s flat out impossible to take tax reformers promises seriously when the state decided to keep 70% of the income tax revenue.
If the legislature were serious about lowering other taxes while introducing new ones, they would’ve passed a dollar-for-dollar tax cut. Instead, they kept the revenue and will increase spending. #waleg
“Trust me, you don’t want to be France”
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you.
I come from your future.
In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream.
Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them.
The promise was protection. The result is stagnation.
The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe.
I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has.
Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France?
Trust me. You don’t want to be France.

Senate Bill 6346, which created Washington’s income tax had the most recorded comments in state history. Democrats didn’t care that 61,240 of the 80,800 Washingtonians who commented opposed.
That was over five times the activity on the previous high, the high-capacity magazine bill in 2021.
The income tax is coming for everyone.
Vote yes on I-645 to overturn it and don’t forget the judges on your ballot.
More evidence that they plan to lower the million dollar exemption so low that it will affect your pension.
They plan for the income tax to affect everyone.
Vote Yes to repeal the income tax.
The public union bosses seem to be worried including April Sims and they are sending out flare missiles to distract and mislead.
The reason they are worried is because they sort of kind of a little bit forgot to tell their members that the new income tax now subjects their pension/retirement accounts (and your social security account btw) to the new income tax.
Prior to this unconstitutional income tax, WA state law explicitly prohibited taxation on public pensions. But for some reason the legislature reached in 11 times and change the law to make each of the public pensions subject to the tax.
Now April and the other union bosses are screaming because they got found out. They say disingenuously, well no one make a million dollars a year on the pension so you are all safe. This is a don’t look at my other hand kind of trick.
They absolutely refuse to answer the question of why the legislature took the protections off pension/retirement accounts in the first place. They didn’t need a million dollar exemption because they couldn’t be taxed.
But now they can because the legislature changed the law.
Why, April Sims, did they take the protections away from retirement accounts if there is no plan to raid them later??
See details in the comments for the actual language in the law.

The new income tax only reserves 5% for education. How long before they redirect that as well?
They do not need more of our money. They need accountability!!
Vote Yes to repeal the tax!!
WHAT THEY SAID. WHAT THEY DID.
EDUCATION PROMISED. ALLOCATIONS CHANGED.
Let’s follow the money. 💰
THE LOTTERY
In 2000, Washington voters approved directing lottery revenue toward education, including school construction.
Then the allocations started changing.
2009: CHANGED. Some lottery proceeds were redirected to the General Fund and Education Legacy Trust Account.
2010: REDIRECTED. Lawmakers created the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account, directing lottery proceeds toward scholarships, higher education, and early learning.
2013: CHANGED AGAIN. After suspending the $102 million annual replacement transfer for school construction, lawmakers eliminated the requirement altogether.
THE CAPITAL GAINS TAX
In 2021, lawmakers designated the first $500 million annually, adjusted for inflation, to the Education Legacy Trust Account. Revenue above that threshold was designated for school construction.
2026: REDIRECTED.
Lawmakers changed the allocation for the 2025–2027 budget period, directing all capital gains tax collections to the Education Legacy Trust Account instead.
And what can that account fund?
K–12 education, higher education, early learning, and child care programs.
Now we’re being told another tax is needed to help fund education.
Here’s my question:
How many times can we introduce new revenue for education, change its designated destination, and then return to taxpayers asking for more?
I’m not suggesting education receives none of this money. It does.
I’m asking something much more fundamental.
How much was collected? Where did it actually go? How much reached its originally designated purpose? And did it add to education funding or replace existing funding?
Because changing an allocation isn’t the same thing as demonstrating better results.
Before asking taxpayers for more money, we should be able to account for the money already collected.
FOLLOW THE MONEY. MEASURE THE RESULTS.
We are not undertaxed. We are underaudited.

More evidence to support a YES vote to repeal the income tax.
Today, Washington Policy Center and The Buckeye Institute released a new report on what Washington’s income tax would cost the economy.
Compared with Washington without the tax, the report projects:
• 7,800 fewer full-time jobs in 2028, growing to 18,800 fewer by 2036.
• About 1,400 fewer new employer businesses each year.
• $4.9 billion less economic output in 2028.
• $3.6 billion less consumer spending and $3.1 billion less business investment in 2028.
By 2036, the report estimates $2.50 in lost economic output for every additional $1 the state collects.
And those estimates assume the tax stays at its current $1 million threshold. Legislators are already talking about lowering it to $250,000.
The people losing job opportunities and customers won’t all be millionaires. Selling this tax as something that only affects the wealthy ignores the costs it imposes on everyone else.
