That as a Yoruba, for a better Nigeria, you are sensible enough to know you should decenter tribe in your political decisions in this coming election is something I am deeply proud of you for!!! I only need 10 of you!!! 🙏 A better Nigeria is POssible and Peter Obi is coming!!!

Pastor: Your wife makes 1 million but you make 100k. Make sure you feed the family with the 100k don’t depend on that 1million… Me: So what will the wife be using the 1 million for? Pastor: that’s not your business… just play your part and lead your home as God blesses you. Me: But I’m her leader and should know what she uses her money for and how she spends her resources and time, just the same way I am transparent with my actions… Pastor: This is ancient knowledge. Me: That’s why it’s ancient, that knowledge definitely belongs in the past and there’s nothing biblical about it. Prov 31 woman literally used her money to feed the family. So, why should a married woman not do the same if God has blessed her and by extension, the family with a high-paying job? Nigerian men too mumu!!!

Even the average Nigerian pastor knows nothing about family values and would always preach in favour of culture over biblical truths. Listening to most older folks on marriage is about the same as listening to them on career advancement, most of them have always gone through life through the traditional route, they’ve lost touch with current day reality and do not what the better advice is globally and more specifically, for 2016 and beyond couples. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife (1 Cor 7:4). Same principle applies to money, investments etc and everything a man or woman who is married has. Everything a woman makes and has must be depended on planned with as a married woman with family values. A husband and wife tackles all the family’s responsibilities and problems together as a force, not as separate entities. Your wife’s money is your money, your money is also her money. Everyone’s money belongs to everyone and must be spent and used to make the life of everyone better. If a woman is unwilling to die to self and serve her family with all she has, fling her away. And vice versa! If you don’t bother doing this marriage thing well don’t bother doing it at all. Listen to prosperity gospel preachers on marriage at your own peril!!!!
