🚨 Exciting times for the #NET community! Positive Phase III #ACTION1 results with ²²⁵Ac-DOTATATE after progression on ¹⁷⁷Lu! A major milestone for alpha-emitting radioligand therapy and potentially a new chapter in #NET treatment sequencing. But why does this matter? 🧵👇 🎯 Same target, different radiation! 🔵 ¹⁷⁷Lu (Lutetium): Beta emitter, longer tissue range, lower linear energy transfer (LET). 🔴 ²²⁵Ac (Actinium): Alpha emitter, very short range, much higher LET and potentially more lethal DNA double-strand damage.
