📢 On Thursday, July 11, the 6th International Symposium on Silsesquioxanes-Based Functional Materials (6SFM 2024) concluded! 🔷 The event was organized at the Advanced Technology Center of Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) and the Faculty of Chemistry at UAM. The chairman of the organizing committee was Professor Dr. Hab. Bogdan Marciniec, and the vice-chairmen were Professor UAM Dr. Hab. Beata Dudziec and Professor UAM Dr. Hab. Robert Przekop. 🔵 The 6SFM was attended by 58 participants from nine countries (China, France, Japan, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, the USA, and the United Kingdom). There were 26 oral presentations (three plenary lectures, eight invited lectures, and 15 short communications) and 23 posters presented. 🔷 Renowned experts were invited to deliver plenary lectures: ▫️ Joe Lichtenhan (USA) ▫️ Yoshiro Kaneko (Japan) ▫️ Michel Wong Chi Man (France) 🟦 Two awards were given for short oral communications: ▫️ Manisa Kongkaew (ICGM, University of Montpellier, France) ▫️ Dawid Frąckowiak (CZT UAM, Poznań). 🟦 Three awards for posters were granted: ▫️ Kamila Majewska-Smolarek (Center for Molecular and Macromolecular Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences, Łódź) ▫️ Daria Pakuła (CZT UAM, Poznań) ▫️ Danuta Matykiewicz (Poznań University of Technology). 🥳 Congratulations to the award winners, and thank you to all the participants who attended our symposium!
