Tyburn have been learning all about Rivers in geography. What better way to learn than to visit the River Lin in Bradgate Park and use their new knowledge and vocabulary to study the river 🌍🦆☔️
Old John had a wonderful time at the Imperial War Museum this week where they consolidated their learning on WWII.
Tyburn have been enjoying their Forest Schools sessions at Bradgate Park. Today involved den building and even making a swing. Looks like Ranger Rob is having a great time. 🌲🌍🌿
We had a great time at the Sportshall Athletics this morning. Mrs Botterill and Mr Chapple were so impressed with how the children pushed themselves and supported each other. 🏃🏻🏃🏽♀️💨
It was a cold one this morning at Brookvale but that didn’t stop our cross country runners. A big well done to all that took part. Lots of grit and determination on show today. 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏼♀️💨
Some tiny creatures appeared in Linford this week, leading to the children asking lots of brilliant questions to find out more about them... 🪲🔎
Some wonderful artwork on display in Bradgate. The children have learnt about the work of Frank Bowling and created their own abstract pieces 🎨🖼️🖌️
A big well done to our Year 3/4 dodgeball team who claimed victory in the Charnwood competition last night. Fantastic teamwork and resilience on show. 🤾🏼♀️🤾🏽♂️🏆

Our KS2 choir visited the community coffee and cake meeting at the village hall today to spread some Christmas cheer. A special moment to share some carols and Christmas favourites with the community 🎄🎵
Linford & Bradgate were brilliant in their nativity performance today at the church. The singing was exceptional and Bradgate read with such confidence whilst the Linford children had the chance to perform 💙💙
Thank you to everyone who came along to the wonderful KS2 Carol Concert. The children sang beautifully and we are extremely proud of them. Great to end with some audience participation as well. A big thank you to Miss Langford and the KS2 team for putting it all together ⛪️🎵🎄
Thank you to everyone who came along to support our Year 6 children with their enterprise project. I am sure you'll agree they did an amazing job, we are so proud of them. The counting up of the money raised is yet to be done but we are so thankful for your generosity. 🎅🏻🎄🧁
Our KS2 choir had a great evening at the Winter Song Festival. It was lovely to come together with schools across Leicestershire to sing 🎤 🎵❄️
