When the Luos in ODM were chasing away Sifuna, they believed he would wither away like Ababu Namwamba. But he didn’t, that’s why they’re so bitter.

All people of goodwill and supporters of democracy across the world are relieved to see the trumped up treason charges against Comrade Tundu Lissu collapse, following his acquittal today.
These charges should never have been brought in the first place. Lissu’s only crime was to call for basic reforms to the electoral architecture in Tanzania to guarantee a fair process. He has lost over two years of his life in custody as he fought off the charges.
We encourage Ndugu Lissu, the CHADEMA Party and all our Tanzanian brothers to take heart and remain strong in their pursuit of justice and freedom, in the knowledge that all forces of regression are usually ultimately defeated.

FREE LEGAL ADVISE
When you kill your Father, Mother, Husband or Wife, the law disinherits you 100%. If you want inheritance, be patient. You may outlive them. Or you may go before them. But killing is a ticket to eternal poverty & then HELL!
And by the way, inheritance is a gift not obligation.

It is with great sadness that I have learnt of the demise of Hon. Justice (Rtd.) Paul Kihara Kariuki, EGH, former Attorney General of the Republic of Kenya and former President of the Court of Appeal.
Justice Kihara was an accomplished jurist and public servant who dedicated his life to public service in the legal profession, traversing private practice and the public service.
I have known Justice Kariuki since 1974 when we joined the University of Nairobi together as law students. I also had the honour of being appointed a judge of the High Court alongside Justice Kihara in 2003 and again to the Court of Appeal in 2011.
His service as a judge, founding Director of the Judicial Training Institute, the first elected President of the Court of Appeal under the 2010 Constitution, and later as Attorney General, left a lasting mark on the administration of justice and the rule of law in our country.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues in the legal fraternity during this difficult time.
May the Almighty God grant his family the grace to bear this tragedy.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Hon. Justice (Rtd.) Paul Kihara Kariuki, former Attorney-General and former President of the Court of Appeal.
His service on the Bench, leadership of the Court of Appeal and pioneering role in judicial training leave a lasting legacy in Kenya’s legal institutions. His contribution lives on in the institutions he helped strengthen and the judicial officers and legal professionals whose development he supported.
As the legal fraternity mourns his passing, we stand with his family in this painful moment. May they find strength in one another and comfort in the enduring impact of his service to our country.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
