Atmospheric gravity waves from Tonga eruption detected by the weather station of the NGTS telescopes (@NextGenTransits @PH_NGTS) at the @ESO Paranal Observatory in Northern Chile. Time delay is 9h33m suggesting speed of 305m/s. Pressure measurements made at altitude of 2440m.

A look at stellar flaring from @JackmanJames26 as part of the @NextGenTransits. This time in the K/M star regime, showing the increased flare rate of those below the fully convective boundary, likely due to their long spindown time, and the young subset!!
