Chris Davies started volunteering back in 2020.
Sadly, in August 2023, Chris and his wife lost their baby who was born sleeping at 39 weeks. Whilst dealing with this unimaginable loss, Chris continued to be dedicated to volunteering.

Fantastic to see some of our colleagues from @DMS_JHG_South at yesterday's #DDay80 commemorative event in Portsmouth.
Today, over 100 of our personnel attended the #DDay80 commemorative event - both as members of the audience, and also selected to support Normandy veterans.
We will never forget the extraordinary bravery and sacrifice of those who fought for freedom on that fateful day.
